What are you studying newboobz? There's nothing worse than that deadline looming- but good timing as you have no excuse, you have to chill, sit still & do your final edits :ok: . I'm sure you planned it well & will do fine. It's usually hard to get started again after a break- so it's go and read something to get going!

I'm at uni too. I'm on placement in a month & praying I'll be totally fine by then dance

Need a little reassurance I think, by someone going through the same x thanks Huni x it's great to have the reassurance from others x seeing my PS in 2 weeks! Can't wait to hear what he has to say, he was very proud of his work lol! Anyways you don't need me ranting on, you've got your own boobies to think about x x

Oh my!! So I'm not the only one feeling like this newboobz! I feel so fat, got a huge belly and when I try to suck my tummy on it looks as if I'm 5 months pregnant and trying to hide it... Wouldn't even dream of going anywhere near the scales!! I've been feeling quite well for the past 2 days and I've been out n about, slept well etc.. But the boobs.... Feels like someone has got a pump connected to them and has been playing a practical joke on me.... Lol they feel so heavy and like they're gonna pop at any minute. Literally!!!!
Are/were anyone's boobies this swollen at 6 days post op?? They're so close together that if I insert my index finger it's nice and snug... I'm worried they're getting so close I'm gonna get a uni-boob soon!!! Lol
Lisa I'll take a look at ur picture trail, but the pics I've seen the other day look great!! Xx

mine are still swollen but not as bad as you describe. Did your surgeon struggle getting the implant in do you know? that could be a reason why?

also - i forgot how much i hate wearing bras!! :'( can't believe i'm in this 24/7 for at least another 5 weeks. noooooooooooo

Hey...
I don't think he struggled to put them in... I've chosen the smallest size I was recommended and I've breastfed two kids so there was a lot of room there. They were close straight after surgery then loosened up and close again, could it be the Macom over my tight bandages....

Girls i feel the same!!! I feel huge doesnt help that two dinners my oh tried to cook were a disaster so i have had two takeaways this week plus lots of choc. Asked Ps when i can go back on my diet and he is happy for me to re start next monday so im gunna enjoy a bit of naughty food this week and then get back on the straight and narrow.

I had my first post op today went well. My ps is very happy with everything removed my stiches and changed dressings. I now only have two very small dressings over the scars which im happy about. He did say i was still very swollen and this should settle in the next coming weeks. He wants to see me again in two weeks to check progress.

I did ask when could i drive again he is happy for me to drive tomoz but im still a little un sure il be able to. Girls who are ahead of me have any of you started driving again? xxx

I didn't have a dedicated nurse but could phone/email my surgeon anytime. So I saw him at one week but don't need to be seen again until 12 weeks unless I have any issues. I think different surgeons hospitals etc all work differently x

I think every surgeon/clinic work differently new boobs dont worry. What i had done today would have been fine if it was done by a nurse i spose i just had an extra bonus that it was my ps. xx

Yep she/he sure would chick. One thing i was a little unhappy with was that my surgeon said that once swelling gone now i wil lose 10% of what the size is now. I hope notttttttttttttttt xxxx

Hi girls, benn so busy the last couple of days. Haven't even done my diary. I have a deadline to get my new website up for tue, not sure it going to happen but trying not to get distracted by you lovelies!

Quick question. Any one got odd sized swelling. My leftie is much bigger still today and the rightie seems lower and smaller with the nipple facing out to the side a bit. Im sure its normal but could really do with some reassurance! xx

my left is bigger than righty deffo. altho i think when they're both settled lefty will be bigger anyway because pre op she was the bigger boob but atm she is very high up and more swollen than righty who has definitely dropped a little. Don't forget that they are 2 separate operations and will heal at different times but will even out eventually! I read somewhere to think of them as sisters, not twins

Cupcake - I'm doing OT! How lovely there's a fellow uni gal here- infact, there's more than us.. Newboobz is studying, and Hannap (or actually I think she's qualified nurse).

I am on placement in a month. Infact hvg some pretty profound OT reflections during this - like loss of independence, limited mobility, reliance on others, need for adaptations!!! I'm sure the drugs are to blame:)
