Re: March Buddies
Ohh myyy!!! My 5 month old lab puppy was just being naughty so was removing him from where my son was playing and he tugged on my arm. It feels like he has ripped my implant out (i know its not as its still there) but im now in super super pain and dont know what to do with myself.
Sorry im moaning alot today having a bad day !! xx

Re: March Buddies
Ok so dressing came off today....OUCHHHHHH!!! Then I've spent 1/2 hour trying to remove glue from my chest and basically everywhere I'm allowed to, most of it still there tho....
But I'm sooo happy with the result so far I've realised they're a tiny bit wonky but I could only see that in pictures the nurse took. Scars are amazing, the nurse was really impressed with them, could barely see them to photograph them!! No bruising except redness from the tape. In short the result is much better than I could hope for at this stage xx and I'm over the moon

Re: March Buddies
I am doing super well so far guys. No sickness and minimal discomfort all round. Taking it mega easy though! I am so in love with my V pillow now I think my BF is jealous.
Its mad how different we all are. My implants are only a tiny 240cc full projection Natrelle, but I'm really filling to the brink a 32c sports bra (I guess I have a bit of swelling tho). I was only a 30-32 a before. But I am a tiny frame.

Re: March Buddies
I might be mad- but I think morning boob, as painful as it is - is actually a good sign of the healing process.. I wonder if there are any correlations to something else? Like does no morning boob come along with temporary numbness I wonder? In which case, it's probably happening and you can't feel it???

Re: March Buddies
Angie - really pleased you've finally got to see them and are so happy. The glue is a real pain isn't it.
Boodreams- is morning boob due to swelling? I didn't get it but then didn't have any swelling on my actual boobs just around my rib cage so that could explain it.

Re: March Buddies
Its all so blooming complicated isn't it. Mine seem more swollen now. I think I might change up a bra size? its hard to tell cos they are still quite numb.

Re: March Buddies
Thanks redtulip, it was a relief :-D
I still get morning boob sometimes, though some days stronger than others, some days nothing. All in all very brief discomfort.
Little miss, glad to hear you're doing so well, though you've probably still got GA in ur system at one day post op and feeling pretty relaxed. I'd say worst are days 2&3 and then should be easier each day. I was wearing those tight dressings for 12 days so I couldn't really gauge the swelling but they do get harder and softer when they feel like it, so a Macom was great with that and no worries about the size xx

Re: March Buddies
redtulip - I don't even know if I'm swollen or not! like angie - I have a huge plaster on my boobs, so maybe can't gauge it as well as if I didn't. I know that today I had more pain than yesterday, and think it's because I sat up most of yesterday and am thinking not laying down has caused swelling?
littlemiss - my boobs are having to deal with the size bra I was given. I thought the tightness was deliberate as the compression is helping to control the swelling?!
Today is perhaps the first day the elephant got off my chest! Maybe that's my swelling gauge?!
I ordered a Macom today because what I have is digging in my back at night. You're right littlewellies - boobs are causing brain cramp!

Re: March Buddies
LOL My GA has definitely kept me dopey. I've never been so chilled out! Its amazing. I was saying to someone who was worried about GA...don't be! I'd have it again now! Its lovely. Never had such a good sleep ir felt so refreshed! Its wearing off tho and I have some swelling under my arms but still generally good without pain.

Re: March Buddies
Ohhhhhh I loved the GA... Loved the dozing on/off after the op, and I was walking like a drunk talking total rubbish and laughing at myself!! I'm gonna request it at the slightest opportunity loool
Hopefully the pillow works for u jos xx
Boodreams, when us ur tape coming off?? I bet u want rid if it ASAP! Is it rubbery like what I had? It felt all sweaty at times and I could do nothing about it. Oh they feel so much lighter today feel 100% mine :-)

Re: March Buddies
Glad your all doing well other than morning boob and numb bums! It's the same here. I think it was a little better today.
Saw my ps this afternoon. He said I had healed well and has taken my scar support tape of. Feels a bit odd to not have anything there now. Scars perfect and not that red. Just got a bit of glue stuck on. Hoping a bath will soak that off tonight.
I told him about the burning and he just said it will past 4-6 weeks post op. hope it doesn't last that long!! I don't need to go back for 4 weeks now. X

Re: March Buddies
Nikki - are you allowed baths now? Once my dressings were off I was told I can have short showers but no soaking in the bath until after the 6 weeks! The glue is a pain though took me ages to pick it all off!

Re: March Buddies
He didn't say. I could shower from day one though. I hate baths so won't be in there long.i usually only last 5 mins! I get to hot. I spend longer sitting on the floor in the shower lol. X
Re: March Buddies
Yeah, same here redtulip, definitely no baths for 6 weeks and no soap on wounds for 6 weeks xx

Re: March Buddies
I was covered in glue from all the tapes but it came of easily just took. Ages as was so stringy. Didn't have any on my scars though- that might hurt! I'm a huge wimp have to put micropore tape on my scars and replace every couple of days. I hate taking it off. Don't like the feeling and worry it'll open the wound up. So yes maybe leave the glue alone for now!

Re: March Buddies
Nokkinoo - No baths for me either for 6 weeks. PS says it increases te risk of infection as you are sitting in a pool of water that may not be clean.
Yes angie - I have the giant plaster too! My nips weren't covered though so its quite a kinky look!
I took some glue off near my underarms today with some E45. Comes off a treat. It's a mama trick - oil gets off stickers/glue that the kids put in places you'd rather they didn't! If E45 doesn't work, use any oil- olive is usually my go to. I'm sure I'll have fun with that tomorrow after the unveiling

Re: March Buddies
Loooool kinky!! Well lucky you the tape wasn't stuck to them!! May I just say again... OUUUCHHH!! Tape was stuck directly on my nipples!!! And they're oversensitive for the past couple of days!! I tried with baby oil, wipes and after -waxing wipes. Got most off from the top of my chest but loads left on my side. And my Macom is stuck on.... Oh joy!! Lol

Re: March Buddies
Lol you guys are funny. I don't know if I have any glue. I hope not. I have no dressing at all on my boobies. I just have strips over my scared covering the dissolving stitches and steri strips. Probs cos they are small and don't need. I am desperate to have a wash. I am allowed lower showers but must keep boobs dry and away from steam for 10 days x
