Re: March Buddies
Good luck girls. I want to be a March buddy too but I am going to have to book mine for April. Because of the kids I need to have mine in the half term as I won't be able to drive to get the youngest to pre school. Xx

Hi ladies, is it impolite to ask where you're having your surgery done? Also the name of your consultant? Xx

Re: March Buddies
I live in South Wales and I am travelling to Birmingham for my op. I am having 380 cc round overs with Mr Sultan Hassan of Elite Surgical.
Won't be too long now ladies (that's what I'm telling myself anyway!)
I'm not too worried, at the moment, about the actual procedure it's just the recovery that is bothering me. I'm not really one for asking people to help me but I suppose I had better get used to it.

Re: March Buddies
Hi March ladies, I actually might be joining you after all. I have my op booked for 15th April at the moment, but I have now asked for it to be brought forward to it fits in with my eldest daughters half term as she will be much more of a help than the youngest who is only 3 and wont understand why mummy cant do anything. The new op date will be either the 4th or 5th March, will find out tomorrow which date it is. cant wait. xx

Re: March Buddies
I had my youngest is only 3 and at nursery and my eldest is at senior school and they have different school holidays and had booked it for when the little one was off as I wouldn't be able to drive but when thinking about it, she wouldn't understand why I couldn't do things and need to rest so would make more sense to bring it forward to my eldest daughters school holidays as she can help me much more and will understand what I have been through.
Will find out tomorrow if it's the 4th or 5th and can't wait. Soooo excited.
