Re: March Buddies
Hi Lucia
To be honest I haven't brought anything for after the op apart from a zip up front sports bra!! What would you recommend buying as I don't know where to begin! X

Re: March Buddies
There are a few threads on here on what you should need but what I have bought so far is;
Macom
Arnica gel, tablet and cream
Laxatives - just in case
Windeeze - just in case
Anti histamines - just in case
Tangle teezer hair brush as these are easier to brush through the hair so not as much pressure on a sore chest to brush you hair.
Taking to hospit with me;
Phone and charges
Camera with new batteries
Knickers
Toothbrush and paste
Wipes
Make up for coming home
Deodorant
Kindle and magazines
Sweeties, snack and drinks
A pillow for the journey home in the car to put between boobs and seatbelt
Front opening top as easier to get on to come home in.
Slippers
Shoes that are easy to get on my feet, probably wear my uggs.
Easy on trousers too.
Not sure if I have missed anything. If I have I am sure one of the other ladies will let us know. Xx

Hi JellyBaby, how exciting that we share the same day.the only reason I am organised is that I have so much to do before our day so I didn't want to be rushing around last minute stressing.
Where abouts are you getting your BA done? Xx

Re: March Buddies
Also found the arnica cream in asda today for £3.47 and the arnica gel in there for £4.57 so if you can't get to boots to get the deal it might be worth popping to asda if you still need to get some. X

Re: March Buddies
Totally getting that maddimoo - mine may start off an inferno. Quite ironically my husband is a fireman. I might ask him to bring home a few extinguishers from the station lol!! Though I don't think he would relish the thought of his work mates finding out about my boob job.(There would be jokes for weeks, no probably months) xx

Re: March Buddies
Just went to order a macom bra in a 34 band as am 32 but have heard that post op they can get really tight so thought would be best to go up a size and the 34 is out of stock!! Eeek! Any suggestions? Should I just go for a 32 do you think? x

Re: March Buddies
I usually wore 34A and I measure 31.5inches under the boobs.
I have been wearing 34 Macom and that felt really good and tight for the first week with swelling but- now I feel its not as snug anymore and I've got 32 on the way too. I don't think I could have fit into 32 straight after the op as there was fair amount of swelling and even 34 was close call.
I currently own 2 Mediums - one black and one nude but I bought another sports bra yesterday so I'm now
selling the nude 34 macom for £12+£2.50 P&P if you want to get a spare one just in case as a back up? It has been worn but is still in great condition. It has tiny pen mark on it but it has faded already in the wash- I fell asleep with pen on my chest lol.
PM me if you want a bargain

Re: March Buddies
Lol at the burning of the bras! You must keep one bra just for the novelty of trying to get it on again after the BA, and to also keep it for if you get booby greed just to prove how big they are from how small they were.
Just waiting for my second macom and my v pillows now, going to get some trackie bottoms or yoga style pants tomorrow for wearing home from hospital and for resting in and then I am set.
Packed my elsdest up tonight as she is off to Germany for 5 days and then countdown to my birthday on Friday and a Weekend away with my besties and their OH's and. Final farewell to my non boobs.
Woop woop!!
