Re: March Buddies
Glad to hear angie. I'm going to list my milestones -
Day1 - happy with boobs, but in pain.
Day2 - increased pain meds to manage pain, happy to go home.
Day3 - first time I could get out of bed without help - my daughter is no longer the getter-upper;) Hoping to sleep more than a couple of hours at a time - tonight?
My plans for day4 - first bowel movement would be good (sorry!).

Re: March Buddies
My arms are scared they will cause further pain, so mainly they refuse to comply with my orders. Not easy arms.

Re: March Buddies
Lmao boodreamz!! I've been on string laxatives since day one but they barely work now. I've been getting out of bed alone since day one using bum shuffle technique I read on here lol, still scared to use my arms to push myself up xx

Re: March Buddies
Angie - I can bum shuffle as long as I'm not nearing the end of meds dose.
Newboobz - the fear is strong isn't it? My nurses told me there's no way I can damage my ps fabulous work (which was lovely & reassuring)- but the idea of pushing my entire body weight is confusing as it goes against the 'no lifting' rule!

Re: March Buddies
I was doing great until yesterday. Over did it. Swellings come back up, at least there even again! Lol
Feel like I have terrible sunburn today. I'm under struck instructions from my hubby not to get off the couch, bless him. Going to take it easy tomorrow too.
I got a couple of high impact sports bras from m&ms which are great. I couldn't get the front fastening ones unfortunately. They feel more supportive than my macom though. Xx

Ang
I've been putting cream on since I had my tape off on Monday - nurse said its fine as long as I'm gentle with the rubbing in and not to put it near the incision scars.
How long are you in the tape for? I only had mine 5 days - had a reaction to it so when I had my check up on Monday nurse left it off! xx

Yeah I'm using moisturiser just not near scars, but i got so used to not wearing a bra and letting my saggy boobies be free that I think they just don't like being cooped up lol x

Not been on here for a few days!
Lisa - just seen your avi for the first time - they look bloomin' great!
Boo - took me nearly a week to do my first number 2 so I wouldn't worry too much lol :)
Think I'm 3 weeks post op now and feeling much better although still one boob is swollen and numb :( x

Like I've read a lot on here each breast is a different op so we shouldn't really expect them to heal the same.... if its not painful etc its more than likely just healing slower xxxx

Re: March Buddies
Can't believe how good yours look too Welsh Doll! Has the bruising gone from the drains now? Mine still look a bit fake looking. Yer they are a bit sore still but nothing that I wouldn't expect! It's just the swelling that doesn't seem to be going down on one side. I think I'll give it another week and then call nurse if no better x

Re: March Buddies
Think its just a good picture angle!
Bruising has faded loads now thought it would stick around for ages! Getting my steri strips off on thurs so looking forward to seein what these scars look like.... Mine are so hard am really hoping they soften up and move soon I can't push them together at all!! Yours look fairly even in ur avi mind babe- would say ur leftie is the bigger one?!?! Is it the boobie that was slightly bigger before ur BA?? I can't feel my nipples or half my boobs on both its so strange! xx

Re: March Buddies
Glad your bruising has gone down so well for u! I think one was slightly bigger before yes, altho can't remember which one lol! Left is defo more swollen and higher tho, I guess perhaps it was more difficult to get the implant in that one. Yep know what you mean about the hardness. Hope all goes well on thurs for u x
And thanks Lisa, nice to have someone a week ahead of me x
