I replied to this yesterday, not sure why it hasn't gone through... I'll be in dressings for a total of 12 days, so still 3 days till I can see my PSs handy work- excited and anxious at the same time:-S

Hannah - they will be changing so much but your probably not noticing as you have nothing to look back on! Do a pic trail, even if you keep it for yourself, you don't have to show anyone. It will be good to look back on your boobie journey x

Angie - I'm sure there is a fantastic pair of bazoongas hiding under those dressings lol xx

My scars feel very sore and itchy today, I've got a panty liner in my bra but that doesn't seem to be helping! Any tips anyone? X

Lisa - that's the thing, I have been taking pics and they don't look any different lol! I've been using cotton pads in the bottom part of my bra to try cushion thr rubbing x

Yeah I am happy with them, had a very bad boobie day the other day lol x didn't like them at all. Righty seems to have moved slightly, lefty still sits very high! And my nipples
Seem to point in a different direction everyday! I can't wait for them to start looking normal. X

Happy easter ladies!!

I am happy to report I think I'm at the corner!!! I halved my codiene last night & slept much better in a slightly more reclined position. I met my goal for day4 & feel much better for it. Bye bye budda belly!

And here's how sad I am - I only just tried iplayer! It saved me last night as I watched a fun chick flick in bed & really really needed that.

Further milestones day5 - took off my own pjs & was able to wash slowly.
Mum came over & washed my hair. Nice. I wiped down the kitchen surfaces very very slowly. Couldn't stand the smudged finish my OH seems happy with! Ha.

My goal for tomorrow is to be using paracetamol as needed. Today I'm staying on it regardless, but pain has almost gone &I can now breathe through the boob blood rush that happens esp when moving up & out of bed.

Nikkinoo- my entire face has peeled today! Did you mean sunburn on your face or boobs?!? My face definitely feels like I spent the day on the beach

I'm quite pleased with myself today, gave the house a good clean, cleaned bathroom, kitchen and bedroom, kids helped with the hoovering bless them :). Washed my own hair and had a shower/wash and now about to rake the wash out if the mashine- next egg decorating with kids followed by a PG movie lol x oh and no morning boob today :))))

And.... I'm upside down too lol

Well it's not! I had to take it off!! It hurt on the (damn can't remember what's it called!) The muscle between neck and shoulder and felt tight round the ribcage even tho it's a bigger band size than u usually wear :-S
It's the high impact sports bra from M&S, was on sale for £15, might still be xx

I couldn't find any of the zip up ones in m&s, probably a good thing if they arnt comfy lol! I love the shock absorber, but think I need a bigger one x

wooo i can finally fit in my macom!! my back/side swelling has gone just need the buddah belly and extra inches to go away too now ... !! worrying a little bit now because lefty looks a lot bigger than righty! there was some difference before but barely noticable. I know small differences can seem magnified post BA but atm it looks about a cup size difference hoping lefty is still swollen!

My ps nurse made me promise that for atleast 10 days I look after nobody - the rule is they all look after me. I needed to be told that and am sticking to it!

Hey bod! Its my boobs that feel sunburnt. Although I did get a very greecy face for a few days about day 6 or 7 then it went really dry.
Seems to have settled now.

Im really uncomfortable with this sunburt feeling though. If that would go I think Id feel allot better. I had a really easy ride teh first few days but the past few have been much tougher. I suspect that has allot to do with feeling good then over doing it a bit though. Spent the past 3 days on my bum doing nothing much! :O) xx

Thanx boo, I only did what I felt comfortable with didn't feel like u overdid it after and I woke up quite fresh:) I guess taking it easy the first few days really paved the way :-D

Nikki- I've never felt sunburnt tho boobies were quite hot the first couple of days and sine frozen peas helped with that. Now they feel like mine with a tight bra, to I suspect the stitches will make an appearance soon enough. A bit of morning boob this am but that's it :-))

Day seven for me and feeling much better. Belly is almost back to normal, that's made the world of difference. Worst days for me were 4&5 & that's because I reall overdid it on the early days post op. my advice to April buddies is rest even if you feel capable if washing hair, chores round the house don't!! I did and regretted it!
Still have major boob greed issues though!

My bazookas are 2 wks old already!!! Can't believe how quickly it's gone- my swelling and bruising is minimal now with righty being the slower to heal- both are slightly softer and making lots of stupid noises!!!
Only thing I am still struggling with is sleeping on my back.... Hoping it will be comfy on my side really soon?!?
Steri strips are coming off on thurs so excited to see what my scars are gonna look like!

my boob greed is going up and down like a yoyo, i went from thinking they were too small, too worrying that they were gona end up too big, and now back to thinking that they're too small!! Oh my boob greed is going mad!! I'm like you newboobz I look down and think OMG there's hardly anything there but it look in the mirror and think they're a perfect size x hopefully once we all settle and they drop and fluff etc we will all be happy with our new additions x
