Oh wow, I was supposed to be on Tuesday buy one of the pc took too long sorting something out so had to postpone till Friday as Tuesday was gone by the time she sorted herself out!! How exciting redtulip!!! X

New boobs im pretty much sorted. A few bits i need to grab but il get them in the week. I dont know my admission time either i have to call thurs morning to find out. Im going through a bmi hospital aswell. I cant believe how fast its all come round xxx

That's right Newboobz was originally given date end of march, then April and suddenly next week.

I'm at a BMI too.

Xlaurenx it's great you are so organised! I need to sort out my packing tomorrow to check I've got everything!

hmmmm i'd say take some trackies & a zip up hoody to wear for leaving the hosp... snacks/drinks for when you come round, something sugary? get some soothers too cos your throat might hurt from the breathing tube & magazines/books/ipod etc to keep you occupied while you wait? x

Yeah, that's what I thought, I I hadn't thought if soothers or snacks, as for trackie n hoodie, I was gonna go like that so I don't have to carry... Is that too lazy?? Lol

ladies - what's on your list of things you are gathering.. so far I have:

front opening PJs
hoodie & lounge pants
V pillow
hot water bottle
frozen peas
arnica remedy
bed socks
electric toothbrush (for those weak arms!)
a book

I still need:
trashy magazines
soothers (thx newboobz!)
*to freeze lots of yummy homemade foods

Finally (!) my OH has decided to support me and will be picking me up, dealing with the kids etc.. phew. I have gone into this with a hard-head and decided I'd go it alone as it's ultimately for me, because in the background he was saying I was ridiculous etc. So, although he's not happy I'm doing it (oh he will be!) - to give him credit, he is insisting on picking me up & actually wanted to stay there the whole 24 hours (not possible - but the offer was nice). I think he's scared.

I'm not - roll on BA-day:)

i've got quite a bit

- button up pjs (tho nurse said not to bother ??), dressing gown & slippers for hosp
- zip up hoodies for the first few days post op
- macom bra
- bra extenders in case of swelling for when i buy a back fastening sports bra
- coco butter and bio oil
- mini hot water bottle for if my back hurts sleeping upright
- v pillow
- tea tree shower gel (was told to shower with this for 2 weeks pre op)

then just need little bits such as wet wipes, soothers, snacks, vasline etc that i'll get the day before

oh and boodreams, by OH was a bit skeptical at first when i first told him i was gona get BA but once i involved him more & showed him the look i'm going for & he realised i'm not aiming to be jordan he's been fully supportive lol

newboobz - I got the bio oil but don't think that'll be needed for some time.
Pre-op is on Monday so will get those questions answered then. And I haven't got a Macom but will be asking, as from what lots of ladies have written, it is worth the pennies.

BA is tomorrow morning at 10am! Very excited, not nervous at all!!

Will give an update once I'm all done so everyone has a fresh story :)

I'm going to the Pines in Manchester with Transform. Getting 410cc in left and 380 in right, overs high profile CUI.

I've been taking Arnica for a week now, don't know if its working..read a few good and bad reviews.

Got my v-shaped pillow, lots of tank tops to get a good view ;) 4 sports bras of two different sizes just in case. Will be getting the BF to get me some trashy mags whilst I'm in the OR.

I'm going to look for some in town tomorrow, thinking that might help my swelling issue with not being able to get the bra on. How much do they extend the back by?
