when is it ok to sleep on my front?
I am 10 days P.O. now from having mastopexy (nipple lift) with implants. I slept on my belly last night and felt so comfortable I just wanna know is it ok yet to sleep like that? Xx

I was told to sleep raised on my back for first 10 days then after that I have been told I could go slightly on my side but not my front, maybe ring your clinic and see what they say. Sounds a bit soon for your front though. Your avi makes me soooo jealous lol xx

I'm really pleased with the size. I was so worried I would end up too big but now I think I could have gone with the 460s lol xx

At 10 days you should still be raised slightly to help with swelling. Once you've had your 1st post op check ask the nurse and do what feels comfatable, I couldn't even geton my side for a couple. Of months let alone my front even now!!! X

Too early for your front and even your side, you should be on your back raised slightly. x

Best to check with your clinic. Mine said to sleep raised for 48hours. I have slept on my side of the last 2 or 3 nights and apart from some serious morning boob I have had very comfy nights and its well worth the mornings :)

Re: when is it ok to sleep on my front?
After a mastopexy I really wouldn't advise you lay on your front so early lovely. Think of the pressure you're putting on your new scars! They've barely had time to knit together yet babe, so I'd go back on your back for a while sweetness, maybe sleep on your side if you feel comfortable to do that and only if 'all your swelling has subsided' but definitely not on your front babe. Xx
Re: when is it ok to sleep on my front?
I agree with the girls above, far too early for you to be laying on your front xx
I've had 3 masto's and couldn't have lay on my front even if I wanted too xx

Re: when is it ok to sleep on my front?
Awww thanks girls! I'm such a ditz hehe just feel so good doesn't feel like 10 days more like a month! I'm surprised how pain free I have been aswell. I haven't took my pain killers since Friday afternoon because I felt no pain. Even though it's comfy though I would hate to ruin my boobs so think its back to v pillows and sleeping on back for a while haha :-) xxx

You don't look like you've had any stitches at all around the areolas in your avatar Georgina considering you had a mastopexy! X
Re: when is it ok to sleep on my front?
I had my BA on the 19th of October and i lie on my front ... everything seems fine!! Cant remember when i started to do this though but im pretty sure it wasnt until a fair few weeks after.
I wasnt told i have to sleep tilted either after the op although i did because it was painful getting up!!
You will probably know when you can sleep on your front when it feels right.
Good luck with getting some sleep! :) x

I'm hoping on Thursday she says it's fine xxx
