Re: Driving???
Hi,
I drove seven days after BA, I got automatic transmission but still was in a bit of pain but than I had unders so perhaps you should be ok. Try to ask your surgeon they can give general idea. I was told a week.

Re: Driving???
I drove after a week as I had to go to work. 5th gear was uncomfortable for the 1st 2 weeks. If U get the all clear on your post op appointment then its just down to whether you feel up to it x

There was a similar post about this recently. I was 2 weeks before I could drive and I'm over 3 weeks now and I dont like driving too far as it os uncomfortable.

Re: Driving???
I wouldn't commit yourself to it shaz, some ladies can drive as soon as about 3 days after surgery, other can take 2 weeks or more. It really is a case of listening to your own body and as we all heal differently it difficult for us to say whether you would or not be OK sweetheart, so if you can, it would probably be better to organise a lift and if you do feel ok, you can then take yourself xx
Re: Driving???
Thanks cookie....gonna contact training dept and say I'm having an op and won't be able to drive and maybe they'll let me reschedule, better safe than sorry!! Love your avi cookie  xx

Re: Driving???
I was told I wasn't allowed to drive until 3 weeks PO, haven't tried to drive as I'm only 2 weeks PO but probably wouldn't be able to anyway considering I can't even wash my hair without it being uncomfortable!x

Re: Driving???
Hair washing is a nightmare for me too! I can lift my arms fine now but the scrubbing motion alongside the fact that I am in the shower with no support bra on makes it an unpleasant experience!!

Re: Driving???
5stonedown I hate that too (being in the shower with no bra on) feels like they are heavy and going to fall out!!
