eek I dont know. I think if your insurance is valid and you're only doing a short journey then it should be ok.. but I know people say not to do too much even if you cant feel it cause you might do more damage? be careful hehe xx

I'd be careful because if you accidentally did any damage through driving too soon you may not be covered by the warranty if you're going against the advice of the surgeon/clinic? I can't even unplug my phone charger so I don't know how you're coping so well haha!x

Honestly babe take it easy, I felt like that first few days, not thinking too much about doing simple things round house, i can feel it now believe me. I also went out last night omg I have really over done it, I feel like an idiot coz I love them sooo much yet done that and they feel weird and achy specialty under armpits. I wouldnt drive yet if I were you, I wouldn't dream of it even though I got an auto, I'm leaving it another few days maybe a week xxx

I had mine on 26/4, and thought I would be ok to drive by tomorrow so arranged to pick someone up, but have decided its safer to arrange a cab for them, as not going to risk it. When you feel fine you end up doing lots but then start feeling sore later as you have overdone it. Not worth risking your lovely new boobies for the sake of a few days rest. Ive got boxed set of Mad Men to watch, so thats all im doing for next few days! Make the most of your chance to take it easy.

It's actually illegal to drive unless you can safely do an emergency stop. Do you think at just 2 days post-op you'd be able to conduct an emergency stop babe? Owwweeeeeeeeee I know I wouldn't have been!

Also it's always best to give your insurance a call as they may have specific guidelines about driving after surgery. xx

Awww c'mere babe Hug You're not at all stupid! You simply felt able to do something and you learned the hard way that you weren't ready babe. I can bet most of us here have overdone one thing or another so you're not alone at all Alexis.

And as for the boobie blues... yes, thats VERY common after a BA. If you need for anything Alexis, no matter how small, we'll be there for you hun xx

awwrh chick ..
i know how you feel. but have you had a good day'?
i just feel a little exhaustusted and defiently a NO NO NO to the twitter again haha, i got that bored of moaning to kim k i unfollowed myself and deleted the thing. although something along the lines of twitter or facebook coud be a good outlet or ill just stick to the bjsf lol.

ok so here goes my rant ( none of this will be in order or even make sence so ill just say it as it comes to mind as right now i cant be bothered to even think.!)
yes i think i have boobie blues.

1- for everone that doesnt know. my partner james is a deep sea sat diver and works away for months at a time. hes not here as he is doing a trip in mumbi atm.
yes bad timing but works work.
so iv been pretty much alone dealing with everything here. we have a house 2 dogs i have a full time job and we also rent out houses too and chasing up people for rent isnt good with the inflatables as the tenants will just laugh at me knocking on the door like a hunch back cripple. Hysterical
oh wait theres something else. I cant even drive there in the first place.

2- because james isnt here and i dont really speak with my family iv been with the inlaws (his mum) yes alice i had 3 AMAZING BATHS :P
but i have 2 pugs and they came with me and i just felt like i kinda put my self on her. (although i know she loved the company ) but i just felt like a burden to her so i came home today she did say i should stay but i was missing my own home and my own things and theres no place like home especially when all i have to do is rest. i couldnt 'rest' knowing i was interupting someone elses enviroment so here i am home sweet home.
but im going to send her some flowers to say thanks. ill arrange that tomorrow.

then came to realise my home is empty and a little lonley on my own.
even tho im on my own alot anyway i just need someone here to moan at or whatever and just really missing my man tbh.
but today i was talking to him and i just kinda went crazy
with the whole episode of trying to reverse my car and being pretty much useless and on my own it all got on top of me
-you dnt care. - your never here for me - blah blah blah. the poor guy got it all.
when really hes amazing and gives me everything i could ever want. hence my new additions. (my choice to get them whilst he was away) stupid i know. but he is really supportive in anything i do. and all iv done is give him a hard time.

anyway and i kinda have an embarrasing moan here too. its frustrating as i just feel really podgey and fat, and havent been able to 'go' since the op
i not sure if its got anything to do with the GA.

anyway.. rant kind of over,
untill i think of something else that will most prob pop into my head and ill add to this.
watch this space lol.

Awww Alexis I can totally see where you're coming from! I felt fed up today so had to get out of the house. Do you have any friends who are off in the week who could come and visit or pick you up and take you out for lunch, cinema, anything?

James' mum she sounds lovely and probably enjoyed having quality time to care for you and bond while James is away, you are engaged to her son and she will probably already see you as family! I totally understand about not wanting to be a burden though, and she will have got this impression from you so she will know you weren't comfortable being completely reliant on her and like to care for yourself. Flowers are a great gesture and will show you've appreciated her support so if there is anything you need over the next few weeks I'm sure she would be happy to help, as I'm sure you would for her if she needed you.

As for James, well you can just explain boobie blues and how you're feeling. He loves you and wants you to be happy, and probably wishes he was home to care for you!

Think about the positives and remember you need time to heal, so get your nails done, have as many duvet and DVD days as possible, see your friends if you can, maybe see if James' mum wants to do something to get you out of the house (lunch?), relax and count down to your wedding! Hard part is over you just need to heal :):)

Any more rants were all here to listen! Especially me because I have bugger all to do as well hahaha x

Aw honey it will get better.

Not being able to go is the effects of GA. Try prune juice as a mild laxative or senakot for a quicker response.

My moods were all over the place, luckily my OH coped very well!

I would have gone crazy without this forum!
