Weight post BA
Hi ladies
Was really worried as after both my previous ops I have put on weight due to sitting around eating. This time I have stuck with my weightwatchers and lost 2lbs last week and 2lbs this week. Over the moon! Xxx

Thanks girls! Feel so much better and positive after this op. Just had a mini boob drama...got a one year old kitten but nearly a cat I suppose. I had him cuddle in on his back rocking him like a baby. He decided to stretch and used my boob and incision line to press on! Knacked! Xxx

Re: Weight post BA
Sorry just got back on computer. My first BA was meant to be a full anchor uplift with implants. When I came around he had done under the muscle implants and just a donut uplift as I was apparently boarderline. A few months later I noticed I had double bubble and bottoming out. So he decided to put a bigger implant in and a uplift - implants too heavy and just dropped. Decided that he wanted to put smaller implants in and do full anchor uplift...so had that on the 10th. I have, therefore, been through 3 ops but now have the look I want:-) Hopefully! Still early days. Getting the non-disposable stitches out on Tues! xxx

Re: Weight post BA
Wow sounds like you should have just had that in the first place, I'm pleased it seems to have done the trick this time around though :D hopefully you'll heal well and get a good duration out of your newest assets :) x

Re: Weight post BA
I keep saying everything happens for a reason. Its funny cos the first op was the worst in terms of restriction as implant under muscle and I couldn't lift arms or anything. Second one was great recovery and was out walking 8miles a day by 7days post op. This one has been the hardest in terms of how tired I have been and not felt myself until end of Thursday, yesterday and today. Just as well as back to work on Tues! xxx

Wossers I am going in for op number 2 in 9 mths and a little nervous! I can believe you have had 3. But I am with you you have to be happy or its just not worth it. Did you have to pay for the other surgeries?

Re: Weight post BA
I managed to drop half a stone after surgery and spending a week sat on my **naughty word** with no movement for 6 days, don't know how that works!

Re: Weight post BA
I have tried to be good...figured that my body had been through enough so wanted to eat fresh fruit and veg to have vits and minerals. My clinic have been really good about the re-ops in all fairness as PS said he wanted to re-op and once he says then they kind of have to agree I think. his time I had to pay for my own travel though but in end it worked out well as with it being 3rd op my Mum wanted to drive there and back with me. So it all worked out in the end. Just hoping its worked. Dressings changed tomorrow and worried. I have only seen the incisions briefly so worried about seeing them and maybe getting puckering. xxx

Re: Weight post BA
I would take measurements the night before your BA too - I lost 1.5 inches off my underbust after my op, I assume because of the gravity of my boobs but had I not measured before and after I wouldn't have believed it.
Also don't beat yourself up if you put on weight after your op, it will soon come off again when you are all healed!
And remember when you weigh yourself to account for the implant weight: 1cc = 1g so 2 x 525cc = 1050g = 2.31lbs.
