Need to lose some post op weight! Empty Need to lose some post op weight!

Post by Kazaa 12th July 2010, 4:08 pm

Ok girls, since i cant do any exercise, I need some tips or advice on how to lose the pounds ive gained since my operation! (my jeans are pretty tight now and im not bloated!)

Ive got a pair of fit flops so will start wearing those when walking about. Ive also got a slendertone ab belt and thigh shorts so will start using them again too as they worked pretty well!

I think the sitting around at home grazing all day is my problem!
Any help will be great! Need to lose some post op weight! 321562

I think moderate exercise like the walking will do you good and help you lose some weight.

Fill up with water inbetween meals as well as the walking Kazaa, it helps prevent the snacking. xx

Hi Kazaa

I'm dreading putting on weight when I have my op cause I've just lost 2stone2lbs with weight watchers!

I find filling up on diet fizzy drinks/flumps (fat free), low fat yoghurts, cooked chicken work and like the other girls say, plenty of brisk walks.

Hi Kazaa,

I'm exactly the same, but I'm pre op! Want to get to my ideal weight and shape before I even think about booking!

If I were you I'd wait until your nurse/surgeon says its ok to do exercises (they might have already told you, I'm not sure how post op you are), start with some gentle exercise, do some cardio till you've lost all the weight you want to lose. Then if you need to tone up do some sit ups and that.

By the way, I'm not a fitness guru or anything, it's just that's what I'm doing, so I hope it works ha ha

Hope this helps xx
