Losing Weight Post Op Empty Losing Weight Post Op

Hi Ladies Losing Weight Post Op 399357 ,

I have found a few things on here and different websites regarding my question but still unsure, so I was hoping any one who has experienced this or knows the outcome would be great. Before my surgery I was at a weight I felt comfortable with and was told that women should be their ideal weight before surgery. Well I am 1 month post op (yippy) but have gained weight (boo). I weighed myself last night, also I can tell in my arms and stomache and just because I know what I was before it is bothering me. It is not that much weight and should be easy to loose (I hope) but my question is, will this affect my implants? I have heard a lot of different things, that with implants if you loose weight your breast become small and the implant tends to show which may require a lift!!!!! I'm guessing that is when you loose A LOT of weight but worried myself. Then I read, if you loose wieght it will make the implant look larger, which makes sence, but I just do not want to start being able to work out and start tonning my body if my breast will become loose and will require a lift? I figured because I was at a light weight before my surgery, if I loose it now, my breasts won't be affected? Any insight or suggestion ladies Losing Weight Post Op 267328

If you were at your ideal weight before and you just want to get back to that I wouldn't see a problem. I would think it would be stones before it made a big difference. I lost 2 stone after my op and I was fine but my boobs don't really change. I've since lost another half a stone and my boobs haven't really changed but the gap between my boobs I can see my ribs a lot more now which I don't like very much

I have a couple of stones to lose and 3 weeks til op day. I have been considering cancelling op but for now will just go ahead and be good with food, I don't want to go crazy though as want to be as healthy as can be for the op itself.
I've never put weight on my boobs so not really worried about losing it, and tbh I wanted he surgeon to see me at my biggest to make sure the implants were big enough for my frame when large as well as small.

I'm not sure what "stones" convert into lbs (I'm from Canada) but I have gained 5lbs so far. I know it does not seem like a lot but when looking at your stomache being toned and flat to flabby, extra weight it is hard haha. I didn't think it would affect me considering I wasn't planning on loosing a lot but at the same time.... I want to be careful and hear of any horror stories and see what I should avoid or know of any restrictions Losing Weight Post Op 267328 I would just hate to recover, then get back into working out, losing weight and my breasts looking funny.Losing Weight Post Op 683465

I havent experienced this myself and am also one of these people who can never put on weight on, on my chest. That I have heard, I think its a case of, if your over weight, try to lose some weight pre op so that your body is in a healthier position. And the other point being able to choose the proper implant for you, you wouldn't want to gain weight suddenly before the op and then have your implants in and then suddenly lose a bit of weight, and end up not being as big as you would of liked to of been!
Thats all of my knowledge I'm afraid within this topic. :) Hope that kind of helps x x x
