Re: March buddies
Good luck for any ladies goin tomos. Iv had a funny coup,e of days where i have no motivation whatsoever! Not even been able to find fun in facebook or comp in general?! Odd as im usualy an addict haha. I am determinded i am going to get on tomos and complete my story. I have started it on word so i can copy it here and have my own record but my actual hossi experience was horrid and i need to also write and complain. I am trying to get it down in my story for u to read as there are things i would do differently. As for me in general, im fine, not much pain, more of a tighness and boredom of bra/bandage. Is it normal to be scared of them?!! I have only just tonight plucked up courage to release them from the confines of my sports bra! And im walkin around like an old lady hunched over holding them in case they fall out!! Pmsl! I had an experience with 'chicken fillets' where i bent over n one plopped out onto floor!! Pmsl, luckily i was at home getting ready to go on a night out. Needless to say i never dare wear them again....... And now i dont have to!
Talk to u tomorrow girlies, i promise! Sleep tight everyone and To flower and trisha xxx

Re: March buddies
Congratulations Trisha, Flower and Lulu!!!! Well done to all of you very brave ladies!! You now all have new friends!!! YAY!!! Here's hoping your recovery will be an easy one and Trisha..it really is much easier than you think it is going to be isn't it? The drugs totally wipe the pain out, it's just the feeling of not being able to do stuff (i.e getting in the bath = thumbs up.......getting back out the bath = not so good!!!)
So who do we have left in March.......Roxanne is the very last day bless her.....and we have at least two people on 26th March and I can't remember off the top of my head... but that is only Monday!!! Sorry....call it painkiller brain...it just won't engage to think!!!
I have some exciting news!! I had my first post op check on Tuesday and I had the dreaded strap taken off!! He wasn't shy at ripping that baby off!!! I too feel like you Chynna-Doll.....very scared of them, particularly if I take my sports bra off!! I am actually laying on the bed right now on my net book with no bra on....just to get a little used to it :) and it is very strange! They are still quite solid, but a possibly softening a little right at the very top! But, I'm not sure!! Anyway, my exciting news is (and I will keep it short and sweet!!)...on the way back from my post op check, husband wanted to nip in to 'Go Outdoors' to look for some hiking boots....there was a Matalan on the retail park so I thought I would go for a mosey in there!! I found myself in the underwear dept (surprise surprise!!!) and so decided to try on a couple of bras....I took a 34c and a 34d.....bearing in mind I was an empty 34a.....I tried what I thought was the 34c and it fitted nicely but I could probably go up to the next size.....which I did....and therefore tried on what I thought was the 34d....and it seemed a bit too small....I checked the sizes out and realised the first one I tried on was in actual fact the 34d!!! whoop whoop!!! This was 'snug'!!!! YAY!!!! So, of course, I had to buy it didn't I?? ha ha!! Not a very glamourous first post BA bra and knicker set...but hey ho! It's cream so it won't last five minutes before it's grey anyway!! How fab is that though?
I've got some pics to update my picturetrail 'post strap off' if you want to have a nosey....pm me for the password if you need it again x
Right!! I better do this picturetrail update then before I fall asleep!! Which I am having no problem with semi-sleeping upright these days!!!
Nuh nights girls!! Take care....look forwards to hearing all the updates from this week's girls as soon as possible!! And pics too please!!
xxxxx

Re: March buddies
Hlt is two days before me.
I'm feeling a bit down because tomorrow was the original date of my surgery. I just can't get excited, and don't think I will until I'm at the hospital seconds before my op. I don't think I'll be convinced until then that it's happening.
I just had a look at your new pics Nepoly, you look amazing! He's done a really great job, you already have a natural slope! xxx

Re: March buddies
Thanks Nepoly, it's how my mind works. Guess I'll have to take one a day at a time, but then again, haven't we all. It is a very long wait, it feels longer than the end of my pregnancies because I knew my babies had to come out at some point, lol, plus they both arrived before their due dates. But yeah, with the three different dates I was given, it makes me much worse.
I LOVE the look of anatomicals, they give such a beautiful natural perky shape! I'm super neurotic so decided to stay with rounds though. Plus, I'm not having a straightforward BA, with the lift and my boobs being messed about like that it's best to stay with round ones. We settled on mods though so that the slope is more gradual.
I'm so happy for you! How are you feeling, the meds still making you a little out of it?
I haven't really prepared myself. I bought some antibacterial soap. There's a couple of babywipes packs in the kids' bedroom, I'll have one of those. I bought big pants to be comfy after mini tt. I've always got dry shampoo in the house. I'll order a couple of Macom bras next week, but no rush since I don't wear a bra for the first week. I'll buy a couple of cheap sports bras at sports direct next week as well, I'll go try them on with rice boobs to make sure I got it right. Still haven't found my slippers, where did they go? I blame the kids . So I'll buy some new ones next week. I don't think I really need much, I imagine I'll be in my pjs high on my meds for a few days anyhow
So how are you all Flower, Trisha and Luluthefirst? Hope you are all relaxing with you new boobies xxx
