My surgeon hasn't mentioned it to me. It looks rather uncomfortable! X

Re: Is a chest strap used on everyone?
I was given one to wear 24 7 for six weeks! I had overs aswell, I questioned it at my 7 day check and she said my surgeon wants this for his patients. Bit confused cos most girls with overs don't seem to wear the strap for that long if at all. I was gona post this question myself. Its a pain havin to wear it this long but its wot my ps wants xx

I had to wear one for 24hrs too...its to help keep the implants in place.

I had to wear mine every day and night for 6 weeks too. By god was I glad to ditch it a few days ago! I was told its to help the implant settle into the pocket. I think some surgeons are more Pro the strap than others! xxx

I didn't have one. I guess it's like drains etc, down to the surgeons preference. I'm glad I didn't have one though, they sound horrible!

Thank you ladies for all your replies. I'm hoping my surgeon won't be surprising me with one! Sounds awful. Xx
