How to make a chest strap bearable....
Well girls my chest strap has been giving me really sore skin but I have found a solution
Cut a strip of fabric from a soft t shirt the same width as the strap and put across the chest first then fasten the strap over the strip of t shirt, let the strip curl over the top and bottom of the strap and it stops all rubbing and soreness
My left is dropping and softening nicely but my right is taking a long time to move southwards.
I'm hoping that the strap is going to do it's job and push it down for me.
I still have very wonky nipples but I'm only 4 wks 3 days post op so it should settle in time
And my mondors cord is starting to settle down a bit too
Xx

6 weeks! oh you poor thing. I have had to wear it for 2 and ive sooo had enough..... i just wear it over my nightie or over a top instead of over my bra that way it stops cutting into your skin so much

Re: How to make a chest strap bearable....
I've got it on under my bra at the mo- that's how the nurse at the hospital did it... But mayb it's cause I've got a Macom? I don't know how tight to have it either.... Seemed blimmin tight when I left - felt like it was crushing my chest so I loosened it a bit... Do you think that's ok? Bronzewolf I too have 'madonna cones' at the moment so want to make sure this strap does it's job!!!

i dont have it too tight otherwise i start getting short of breath and migraine... I have a macom too at the beginning i wore it under the bra but it was leaving press marks on me and also made me itch so i started wearing it over the bra and now i just wear it over my nighty or a tight plain top during the day . I just dont wear it under my bra anymore. Have it a bit tightened but not too much. Jee how women wore corsets i dont know..

Re: How to make a chest strap bearable....
I was told initially I would have to wear mine for 4 months.
It has to bo worn under bra to get correct placement on the implants as I had to check this before I tightened it.
After I found out about the strip of material wearing the strap was so easy.
I found I could have it tighter and this must have helped as after only 4 weeks I no longer have to wear it!
