Rant about Mya

Hello girls,
I have had such crap care from mya. My care coordinator has been off sick for god knows how long, I havent even met her!!
The other is on maternity leave and they have a manager in looking after things at there clifton base.Who is always very busy
I know when I saw the nurse for my pre opp she told me which hospital I was going to. I just cant remember???? Its in London and its the Transform one. One of you lovely girls must know.
Im going to ring them today and speak to them about my aftercare I want to make sure before I pay my final balance that I am going to have on call care! Im getting quiet conerned now. It took me 3 weeks to actually speak to someone who could tell me what size sports bra I should be buying!
Reading this post back has just made me so angry I could boil over and just to end the rant the only time they contact me is to ask for money, I have paid £2000 already and I dont need to pay the balance until 21 days before surgery.........Rant over x

Oh hun, that doesn't sound like the best pre op care. I would certainly keep contacting them until you feel satisfied with the care you are going to receive. You need to feel totally confident & happy with them!

Oh Hun, that is not good. You are paying alot of money and the care and support should be there constantly from the first phone call to make your appointment. I am not surprised you need to have a rant.. Hope you get a better response when you contact them next..

Oh that sounds horrible for you, just keep contacting them until you get your answers, you have to feel 100% comfortable about this so it's important that all your worries are dealt with. I assume Mya publish their aftercare policy on the Internet? or not?

The transform hospital in London is called Riverside Hospital, it's just off the A4 near Brentford, you can google Transform Riverside and it should come up. Hope u get everything sorted hun xx

Oh Peggysue thats rubbish I really hope they pull their socks up once you start ranting! Maybe a few veiled threats about changing your mind about them may get their attention?? good luck hun xxxx

That's awful Hun, you would think with the amount of money they have coming in they would employ more people, you should be able to ring your pcc and get a response the same day not you having to chase them, I would definatley take it up with them as I think it's not fair.

Id give the manager a call and explain how unhappy you are with the aftercare, pre-op care really. Tell her you are thinking of cancelling. Im sure you will still be within your right to a full refund, that might just get them to sit up and listen!

Babe.....tell them you either want your deposit for unfulfilled services back to see another clinic, or demand they offer you what you are paying their wages for!!! Don't forget they are in customer service, and YOU are paying their wages... if you don't speak up they will look right over your head. You deserve what you're paying for ... I bet YOU worked for it!!!!!

Sorry you're having a bad time with mya. I went through may, had my op 22nd September. I had a rubbish service from them but I was so desperate to have Mr Traynor I stuck with them.
My pc was awful and never got back to me. She didn't even turn up for my consultation to try implant sizes in, even tho she knew I'd travelled 300 miles!!!
Ring your clinic manager Hun as they should take notice. Threaten to go elsewhere as your confident with the service your receiving x

sorry to hear this! but you should really call the manager and if he is not willing to give you the service you asked for I would tell him you have found an other clinic and you want your money back, make some noise, make some pressure. why did you choose mya? I am glad I read about your experience because I want to go with the same surgeon but wasn't sure if to go to highgate hospital ( I think through mya) or transform, now I know def. good luck!

Thanks everyone for your advise it has all been taken onboard,
I spoke to the manager yesterday evening and stated my concerns. I am now going down to clifton to have an appointment with her.
She tried to make excuses about illness and maternity leave but I got straight to the point and gave her my views on that one. I told her I was considering pulling out and going with transform she soon jumped on that note. And from now on she is my cc. Result maybe???
Sweetpoison I chose Mya as My surgeon worked for transform and mya and I didnt feel comfortable with transform I found them very pushy and rude about other cosmetic companies. I found this very desperate!
But hey turns out mya are crap as well. It doesnt make me feel uneasy about my actual surgery though because I have the surgeon I resurched and wanted and have 100% confidence in him.
Its just a shame all the people that deal with his clients are aload of monkeys :heehee:

Good for you Peggysue! Sounds like your pre-op care is about to step up a bit It is a shame you had to go such lengths, but I think this is how it is with a lot of clinics, at the end of the day the monkeys just want your money!

I just read your post and can't believe the bad service you have recieved from Mya so far. I'm pleased to hear you have mamaged to have a rant at them and hopefully the situation improves. I would hold off paying your final balance until the very last minute though hun so you have a bit of amunition if they decide to act like silly buggers again.

Happy to hear at least the manager is treating you now with respect... ok. it took a bit... ;-) but very good you came straight to the point! you need to fight for your rights! lol also I wouldn't pay of the balance either jet... first see how things are going from here on.

I understand, I wish that the company I will choose (most likely transform because of operation date) will do it's best but in the end I choose him and not them! also glad to hear you are sure about him, I also think he must be the one and gives me confidence! question: did he show you pics from his patients?

No I didnt ask, but I had seen photos on here of girls who had his work and was very impressed, he is known for his neat stitching and natural looking boobies I should say more that he doesnt like the fake look.
Thinking back im sure he said they didnt show photos???? but dont quote me on that. Are you coming to the uk for your opp? xx
