How long before I can shave or wax under my arms
Hi ladies.
This is a bit stupid, but when can I start shaving or waxing under my arms. I had my incisions in my armpit, and they have closed nicely, but its still raised and red at some spots. Its not infected or anything, just still healing I guess. Plus I have a mondors cord on my right side.
I waxed two days before my opp, and being 19 days out, the hair has started to grow back...not nice. I'm only seeing my PS on the 17th of Nov, and I don't feel like driving all the way there just to ask him this, after all, its not life threatening, just maybe social murder, haha.
Any advice on how to get rid of these hairs without agrivating the incisions. I thought of maybe using some hair removal cream, but I'm almost sure they can burn the skin and it might still be sensitive.

If I were you, I'd just try and shave around the incisions for now until you can get a definite answer from your PS. Don't shave exactly over the incisions, but get the remaining hair off around them...I would try that if I were you :)

I'd ask the PS, I had under the breast incisions, so I shaved the 2nd day, but with an armpit incision you want to be careful of infection and irritation, so I'd get the professional advice - I ONLY say this b/c I'm an attorney and would be nervous to void my aftercare

I guess I'll leave it until I see my PS again. Don't have anything big planned until then so this'll have to do.
Thanks for the reply girls. I'll make sure to post a sollution once I've seen my doctor
