How long b4 i'll be able to shave my legs? Empty How long b4 i'll be able to shave my legs?

This probably sounds really vain but was wondering how long i am likely to have to wait post op b4 i am able to move enough to shave my legs? I have come to accept the fact that it may be some time b4 im able to blow dry and straighten my hair and so will look a bit like Hagrid(Harry Potter) 4 a while as i have naturally curly hair but am wondering if my body hair is also going to share some resemblance to him too!!! :doh: .What will have to be will be i know but just interested how everyone else has got on with this :flowers: xx

Have everything waxed a few days before. I was fine to shave my legs though

I was fine to wash my hair and shave my legs within 24 hours (that was only because I wasn't allowed to shower for 24 hours but I would have felt ok before that even)I had surgical glue on the incisions so had no showering restrictions. I also managed to dye my hair 2 days later - not sure why I didn't do that before the op though as it wasn't that easy!

I did have overs and I have heard they are not as painful though!

I attempted to shave my armpits this morning, I didn't look at the outcome but I can imagine what they look like!! I could probably shave my legs if I had tried but it would be a bit uncomfortable!! I've also had overs so maybe that's why it's a bit easier!! Xxx

I don't think I'm going to have time to let my hairs grow back to get all my bits waxed as I was only in last week!

but I will make sure that my legs are epilated to within an inch of their lives!! haha!

I was able to shave mine, but I was made to wear support stockings for ten days after the op so it didn't really matter how hairy they were!!

I could shave mine a coulpe o days after and i had unders so you'll be fine it the underarms that are the issue ha ha ha ah when i think back to trying to shave them LOL and having a shallow bath and t'other half sponging my back so as to avoid getting dressings wet.... such fun :)

i'm worrying about this too annaliese not so much the legs thou as i'm sure i won't be showing them of anyway but my armpits i've said to my mum about maybe helping me out with this but shes scared to put earings in for me so its highly unlikely she'll be able to go anywhere near the boobs for a long time lol

Get ur bf to do it.my hubby was a star pre and post op even though I had to take control back after a day or so!!! Lol good luck xx
