Veins in legs
Just wondering if new bi blue veins appearing in legs is something to worry about... trying not to panic. Noticed a blue patch on my leg a few weeks ago and thought nothing on it. But I;ve just showered and noticed there seems to be a big vein their like a varracus vein? I dont really know!!
Am I out of the risk of deep vein thrombosis?
I dont know what it is or why its there but its noticeable in the mirror, so stands out. Not bulging or painful.
AHhhhhhh
Could it simply be that im a bit run down from working 2 long shifts with not much sleep?
xx Help please xx

Re: Veins in legs
I don't think it's a problem other than an aesthetic one. Unfotunately I have a few, plus lots of thread veins too, got my first thread veins when I was a teenager, it runs in the family. I can feel them pulling and a little sore when I've walked to much though. I plan on getting them removed at some point, my mom did years ago, though some new ones have appeared since, but not now, I've ran out of money. If it was bulging or painful the NHS would remove it, otherwise it's considered cosmetic.
Could it be you never noticed before, but they've been there longer than you thought? Or are you positive they're now.
If you're in the least bit concerned, go see your GP, best to put your mind at ease. This is what I would do if I was in doubt just to be on the safe side, that's what they're there for xxx
