hi girls.

well i am now day 5 post op and i have to say my recovery has been pretty good! i have been in pain but not as bad as expected! worstthing.......... getting myself up from sitting/laying back. really gonna have good tummy muscles!!

now i know it is really early days and I already love what I have!! i have no bruising at all! the pain I have now is mainly in my incisions and my boobs feel really heavy. I justhave one spot that is giving me pain.... my right boob. cleavage side is so sore! just in this one spot. shooting pains and constant... it is not any more swollen than the left but the left does feel a bit softer.... do you think i should be worried?

Sounds like normal nerve pain, probably the firmer side has a bit more swelling

thanks hun. it just feels like the pain you would get from a really hard workout... so happy to have my boobs now just pray they are ok!

have done nothing but sleep/eat/read/watch tv since my op too so doing my best to ensure a good recovery. going to go for a walk tonight though. supposed to be back in work thursday:(

hey hun it sounds pretty normal i found my right was sorer then left and swelling has gone down quicker on left breast, i have same issue with right but under armpit area feels like ive pulled a musche so not even where implant is lol! it's so early in recovery give it another week and you'll prob be feeling even better xx

Hi Pinkpetal - I hope the pain settles soon.
I got pain at around day 8 if I remember and thanks to the girls on here I tried ice packs and they worked wonders. Just 20mins on 20mins off.
I just used a couple of bags of veg over a vest top to prevent any burns.
Keep resting up and see how things are before Thursday although hopefully you have the weekend off? xx

hope your feeling a bit better hun, defo try the ice packs, its probably all the nerves working themselves back together, im sure you will be feeling much better in a few days! x

yes if i go back on thu i will have the wkend off. i will see how i feel tho... might go sick thu and fri then i know i will be in good shape on monday!

off now to watch emerdale with my frozen peas lol!!

Hi pinkpetal, i'm 5 days post op too and my rightie is definatley poor swollen than my left.its much harder also..and soooooooooo heavy. think i'm gonna go get the frozen peas ou lol xx
