Nervous about going too big, Pre BA
Hi everyone!
I have my surgery date scheduled for 10/06/11. I'm extremely nervous that my breasts will be too big for my size. I am 5'4, 112 pounds, and wear a 34 A/B. At consultation I tried on 400 to 425 cc saline sizers. They looked fine. But looking at pictures online are making me want to go a little smaller like 375cc. Also going high profile.

375cc's isn't that much of a difference from the 400/425's.Maybe a few teaspoon worth of saline.Good luck in your decision :)

Re: Nervous about going too big, Pre BA
Hey Bre G, It is really common for us to panic about going to big once we make a decision... I sure did... At my pre op we decided on 500cc and I paniced and thought I wanted 450 so I had another consult to discuss size and my ps convinced me 500 was right for me... In the end he ended up putting in 540 to achieve the look I wanted and I am glad he did because I would go even bigger if I could now!
If you felt good about the 400/425 when you tried on the sizers then you should go with that size because they will seem smaller once they are in your body.
Good luck deciding!

I think you need to trust your surgeon, or get another consultation to show him pictures of how you want your boobs to look. He may then suggest bigger or smaller or to stick with the chosen size.

Is taking pics in something most surgeons should be able to work from? I had loads on advice from someone but my surgeon wouldn't look at them and now I'm worried I will not get what I want them to look like as I'm not sure I was very clear about what I wanted

if your surgeon wont look at what you want and you dont feel you will get the look you want, why are you going with this surgeon? They aren't listening to you so I wouldn't give them your money.
Re: Nervous about going too big, Pre BA
I had the same worry, my surgeon (and another one) recommended the 380cc to me, sayin it was perfect size for the DD I wanted but then I took in lots of pics from Nuts mag & he said the boobs I wanted were huge and I could have the 410! I then started 2 get worried that they were goin 2 b 2 big but he said there wasn't a massive amount of difference. I'm so glad I had the bigger implant as I love them haha!! xxx

I've already paid for my surgery and the surgeon seems to have fantastic reviews, my PC said he probably just had an off day, I am planning on going back to see him again but will prob take someone with me so
I make sure I get everything I need to get sorted this time.
