Getting nervous now!! Empty Getting nervous now!!

Post by shellyb 12th October 2012, 10:05 pm

Hi, Ladies ive got 1 more week to go and my tummy is churning up!

I had my pre-op yesterday and handed over money etc so now it feels more real. Ive wanted this for so long and since booking it im just obsessed with boobies. Im on here every night having a read through all your stories. Im googling pics etc. I think im even dreaming about having boobs every night. Im really excited and cant wait to finally get some boobies, but feel quite emotional about the surgery.

How did everyone else feel leading upto your big day???

Many thanks in advance

Just the same Shelly Hug

You go through so many emotions on the build up to your BA, all perfectly normal, but can sometimes be hard to deal with and that's we're we come in! yes

We're here for you all the way lovely... Reading the stories the ladies have written after having surgery is a great help, I know they helped get that excitement back for me whenever I thought my nerves were getting the better of me..

Or just having this place some days, having women to talk to who KNEW what I was going through helped lots too. Xx

Hi Hun x was so excited at first, buzzing! Then had a bit of a drop, I guess a few suppressed anxieties crept up and I couldn't picture it actually happening even though it was something I wanted so much. It was obviously a bit of stress a few weeks before, and sure enough was my way of dealing with it.And then chatted on here about my feelings and the buzz crept back
Up. I was so excited even walking to the theatre, laughed until I went under! Laughed when I came round!!! Just so so happy !! So just take things in your stride, and think" not long now until I see my lovely new boobies" boobsign

Getting nervous now!! Empty Re: Getting nervous now!!

I was totally bricking it around a week before my op. When I was lying on the anaesthetic table I was shaking so hard and I wanted to run off!! I was petrified of going under a GA even though I had been under one before. I guess I worried more as I have a 7 year old daughter now and the last time I had a GA I was 17 and had not a care in the world! Nerves are all part of the process but once you have your new boobs you will wonder what you ever worried about and believe me you wont look back... I certainly havent!!

Ahh thanks ladies. I think its the GA and the thought of what they actually do. Im squeamish and just keep going over it in my head. I do have 3 children myself so thats prob what worries me with the GA. I have been put under twice before and i was fine so im just over thinking it all i think which sounds normal. I think its the waiting that makes us like it. But i really cant wait and really excited that this time next week i will hopefully be sitting on sofa snuggled up with my new boobs!!!!

Many thanks

Try not to over think it Hun, just focus on what your end products going to be and how happy you will be. Try not to think of it in a Squamish way, I'm not one for watching casualty and medical stuff, but when I do think about the whole ba procedure I'm actually fascinated by it and just how quickly it's performed and you have to sort of laugh at how un gentle they are and can see why after when you see the tiny scar that you're left with...and all their skilled work will leave you with beautiful new boobies!! Completely understandable to be nervous hun but we have all come through the other side saying 'i dont know why i was so worried' as cookie said read some of the stories as some of the girls were really nervous and afterwards said it was nothing to worry about. A lot of girls including myself had banging headaches on the day because of the worry but the ga gets rid of that.

The build up to the op is just as big as the op and recovery and these days leading up to the big day will be all part of the memory xx

Oh jings I was a nervous wreck a week before mine, you would have needed a spatula to scrape me off the ceiling at one point cos I was up there clinging to it Getting nervous now!! 2238686527 just check my previous posts! Cookie calmed me down a bit actually and a few tried bribery on here to get their own house clean and painting done! Getting nervous now!! 557141 because I was obssessively cleaning, cooking and painting to try take my mind of it. I was terrified of getting the GA and even up until I was on the bed I shook so much I almost got up and walked out Shocked

Everyone on here from what I have read; loved their build up to the day, to be honest I didn't. I drove everyone, including myself, mad. I talked gibberish none stop, was buzzing about and very emotional. I just wanted it over and done with! I am a bit of a stresser,in case you didn't realise ;)

Thanks ladies you are all helping honestly to hear I'm normal is reassuring. I'm so excited now.....less than a week but I will probably be shaking on the bed too.
Will have a read over all the stories. Many thanks again this is a great forum. Xx
