Will I be offered what I want????

Hello ladies,

Im all new to this so please excuse me if I'm using the wrong technical terms (corrections welcome!!) I've just booked my first consultation for the 18th august at the Holly house with DR Carver (recommended by a family friend) and was wondering if anyone has had a consultation with him or even a ba? I know I haven't met him yet but I've studied him and from what I've read and heard he sound like the surgeon I want but, I heard that he only does tear drop implants and not round ones and also prefers to do unders instead of overs? It is a bit upsetting because I really wanted round overs because I breast fed my child so have enough skin and feel that the round overs will give a fuller uplifted look? I'm 5"7, size large 12 small 14 and 36/38 A. I would like to be at least DD/E. Can anyone help???

I haven't met Mr Carver, but if you type Carver into the search box (top right of the page) then I'm sure you'll find info about him from others that have had/will be having him xx

That's why it's so good to see as many surgeons as you can to get there opinions on what can be done.Then weigh your options from there.I found that after interviewing 4 surgeons they all had different opinions on what to do with me when it came to implants,size and lift options.Good luck to you!

I agree with Emma-Kate, as even though Mr Carver may have a lot of qualities you want if he doesnt do the profile or type of implant you want then he probably isnt right for you. This is a very big decision and making sure you get both what you want and need is important, you and your ps need to be on the same page. There are a lot of great surgeons out there, its worth seeing a few to find the best fit.

If a surgeon will only do one type of implant and one type of placement then it may not be wise unless you are happy with what he does. If you seen him and a few other surgeons and they all suggest the same then that placement may be right for you. I'd see a few then make your mind up.

I think you are all right i'll go to my consultation and see if I'm happy if not I will shop around!! Just wanted it done there because it was close to home and new he did good work (from family friends experience) but best to have what I want and be happy then have regrets!!!

Hi Hun

I was like you was going to go with one surgeon, had pretty made my mind after seeing my pc. But then i found this wonderful website and realised that i need to shop around. Im glad i booked an appointment with another as i went back to the first surgeon and he said something totally different. I now booked with the second surgeon. x
