Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
The next day I felt fine but days 3,4 & 5 I was in some pain. I had an awful cold too though so I don't think that helped. I'm 3 weeks now and still a bit stiff in the mornings and my left boob is driving me crazy keep thinking it's going to fall off. Hope this sensation goes otherwise I will be wondering if having them done is worth it xxx

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
i voted some pain or discomfort, as it wasnt too painful, just sore, like a workout at the gym, achy like flu almost.
and the implant s felt strange when i used my arms.
i kept up with my meds though, nearly up to 2 weeks post op, paracetomol and diclofenac (anti inflamitory)
the whole op wast as painful as i antisipated and i had 2 ops in one go .

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I agree with the discomfort, apart from the painkillers directly after the op I found that I wasn't in enough pain to have to take any more. Was just very frustrating being so limited by what I could and couldn't do.

Very interesting to see how everyone felt, i put a 2, no pain just slight discomfort and didn't take any painkillers apart from what they gave me straight after the op. I was over the moon with how i felt although i did keep telling myself this is going to be the worst ever :)

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
Yesterday after my op I only felt discomfort and luckily I didn't have to have drains.
Came home this morning and am still only feeling discomfort and haven't had to take any painkillers so far - didn't get any sleep last night as the nurses came in every couple of hours to carry out their checks so hoping to sleep well in my own bed tonight
I know it's very early days for me and the pain levels may change but fingers crossed it doesn't

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
as i woke up i felt wonderful (great painkillers!), then as the wore off i felt baaadddd. i was on painkillers and antibiotics for 2 weeks taking them on time everyday. it was agony for those few weeks and then it became managable. I still cant sleep on my front yet, they feel like theyre gonna POP!! but im assured that soon it will feel fine. would i go through it all over again?? absolutely!!

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
i didnt find that it was painful really, to me it felt like if you went to the gym and worked out your chest a lot. i stopped taking all my prescription pain meds after two days. also, i found that trying to find a position to sleep in was the worst part because it was uncomfortable to sleep on my side like i usually do but i fixed that by getting a body pillow to keep them in one spot while i slept

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I honestly wasn't in any pain whatsoever at any point after my ba!
I've been in worse situations with stomach bugs and toothache!
But I guess I'm just a lucky one xxxx

Well I only had my BA yesterday so maybe there's worse to come but I feel fine! A bit sore and uncomfortable but not painful as such. I've had two babies and tattoo's & they hurt more haha! xx

Yay, Nyssa! I'm glad you went through with the BA!
Really, the most painful day for me was my op day and half of the next day. Today is day 2 after surgery, and like many other said who have unders/partials, I feel like my pecs have been pulled.
I am able to raise my arms above my head pretty easily, though. Today I think I"m going to switch to Ibuprophen.

I was never in total pain. Really uncomfortable day 2 and 3 but still do-able. My left is very bruised and most of my discomfort is due to that.

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I was a little tender, my boobs felt the same as they did when I was breast feeding swollen and tender. By day 4 I was pretty much pain free and completely pain free by day 5, went back to work and I'm a paramedic and have a very demanding job when it comes to lifting and pulling was so scared to go back. So far so good though!

Thank you to everyone for your input in this poll, you have offered a LOT of relief for this little black duck! I was absolutely Terrified of the surgery but it seems like a large majority of you were fine.
I don't work out or do any arm/ chest exercises so here hoping it all goes smooth sailing!
Thanks again guys xxoo

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I was surprised that it wasn't that painful, mainly just some soreness and discomfort. When I woke up there was some pain, but it eased fastly. And for the first few days I had pain if I tried to move my hands too much. Now it has been 11 days since op and I feel almost normal again, my boobs feel just a bit heavy.

Thats excellent chrystal, AND,
How are you feeling? What size did you get? Whats it like opening your eyes and having boobs?!
Thats the msot exciting part, close eyes - flat, open eyes - boobies! Did they stick up, do you feel weird that they are there or self conscious in any way?
Ow I cannot wait!!!!!
xx

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
The pain and feeling sore are nothing compared with the feel of misery you get afterwards. I've really suffered with the whole boobies blues situation. I'm not someone who suffers from depression, PMT although I can get a little up tight the day before a period or the baby blues but this has really knocked me sideways.
I would rather deal with more pain than feeling bloody miserable and crappy.

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
BKOZ, I'm feeling great, thanks! I got my stitches removed today and everything seemed to fine.
I was so excited to see my new boobs for the first time. The difference is huge, but I've already used to this size. I don't miss my old boobs at all. :D I used to be 32A/AA and now with my 260cc partials I'm C or D (or that's what I'd guess, haven't got measured yet). I'm really satisfied! :)
Good luck for your op!
