I would by a few bras cos obviously your gonna need them, but I wouldn't got mad and by lots (as hard as it is not to) and I wouldn't pay loads either. I was an 34f to start with or so I thought but 3/4 months down the line and I was a 32ff/g. x

I never changed size after 6 weeks so your plan sounds fine to me. x

Lots of people seem to think they've fluffed bigger in cupsize when in fact they just go down in bandsize, for example I've got 34f's but now always buy 32g's cos that fits better, but the cup is the exact same size. x

At 6 weeks post-op I was wearing a 32DD over the following weeks I could feel my bra getting more and more uncomfortable and used a band extender and at 12 weeks post op I went for my fitting and I had increased by 2 cup sizes to a 32F, I didn't need the extender, I had actually fluffed by 2 cup sizes..

I've just been out and bought some full support bras from Asda, I got a 34DD but I've come home and tried it on expecting it to be huge, ready and waiting for my new boobs and it fits already. So I'm thinking maybe Asda sizes are wrong and I might have to go change it after my BA.

Really, don't go mad buying bras. At 6 weeks there's still a lot of swelling and your implants will still be flattened by skin/muscle that hasn't stretched yet.

I'd buy maybe three max and wear them in rotation. There's no point spending loads of money on bras you might not be able to wear.

At 6 weeks I still found underwiring really uncomfortable and my new boobs didn't seem to 'fit' into bras very well, I seemed to be between cup sizes, either cutting across the top or wrinkles in the cup material - I don't think I'm the only one who found bra shopping a real disappointment and I bit of a chore!! So I had 2 non-wired bras in nude and black size 32E, which I lived in. Since then bra shopping has got better and I'm wearing a 30F mostly, rotating wired with non-wired to give them a break in between.

Thanks Girlies... I think I may just get a few normalish ones. Then wait for a few more months before I get more :-)

Cookie I SOOOO hope I have a bit of fluffing like that! Even just one size bigger would be lovely!

Can't believe I'm 6 weeks and thinking about bra shopping!!! Gone sooooo quickly!! Never ever thought this amazing day would come xxxx
