How painful was your ba?
Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I put number 5 down but the only reason mine was so bad was because of the Haematoma so i don't really have an experience of a normal BA
You will definately know if you have a haematoma by the pain, it is excruciating and literally unbearable and escalates rapidly, bear in mind it is also a very rare complication xx

:)
I've put uncmfortable. I had expected so much more pain! i read so many horror stories and had reall worked myself up.
i was expecting to live like an amuptee for weeks.
I was so pleased when i woke up it was not to painfull, i was tired more than usual for the first few days.
Day 3 was sore after i did my 4th 1/2 mile walk of the day! (school run) but i also am not wearing a bra yet.
But then i stopped taking painkillers an i felt fine by day 5.
and i am a wimp, i expected a lot more the feeling to me was is if you breastfed when your milk came in, or the baby needed to be fed.
Not pain just uncomfortable!
hope this helps.

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I would have said no pain at all, as for the first 2 days I felt absolutely nothing. But....
I'm actually hurting more now as the feelings in my boobs are coming back. My nipples are perminantly errect. Very embarrasing. I have surgical tape criss crossed over cotton wool pads & you can still see the little blighters !

Day 1 and 2 compression bandage felt really uncomfortable and painful, my mobility was pretty much 0. Had regular painkillers (no morphine) Once the bandage was off it was a big relief.
First two weeks boobies felt like the grazed pain you get when you fall of a bicycle and scrape yourself. They also felt heavy. Had trouble getting of the sofa and out of bed unaided. After that they started feeling pretty much normal, and I could get up on my own. I still have morning boob but that only lasts about 10 minutes.

I've pick 2 some soreness and discomfort, this was probably for the first 3 days, it was just the tiredness that got me after that. After bandages came off on day 7 they ached abit, but by day 9 I felt pretty much back to normal x

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
When I came round from the ga I was convinced that the pain was worse than childbirth however once the morphine kicked in it soon went. I took Tramadol for the first few days which helped then switched to Paramol. 2 weeks on my boobs are still a little achy and heavy but thats it (after I had my son I couldn't sit down without wincing for 2 weeks!!)
I had unders which I now know is why I had the initial pain.

forgot to say I think the most uncomfortable bit was the drains being removed. The nurse told me it would be "irritating".... err no I don't think I would describe it as that! lol Its over in seconds though so wouldn't let it put me off having them again (although I hope not to obviously!)

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I clicked "some pain"
although it only lasted a few days then it was just discomfort and tightness. Much easier than I thought it was going to be.

I sleep on my front, was sleeping on my side two weeks post op and on my front about 5 months post op...
Everything is do-able with your new babes.... I didn't have any pain whatsoever after my augmentation, I was a little uncomfortable for a couple of days, but that was it!

Yes make sure you feel 100% ready and happy about your decisions of surgeon and implant size/placement etc. See at least 2-3 surgeons too hun. I have no problem sleeping on my front either, its much comfier now with boobies to be honest xBINGY wrote:Thanks alot for this girls and especially Nads. Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I woke up in recovery in mild discomfort and angry for some reason. They couldn't understand what I was saying to them cause I was sluring my words badly, got frustrated and cried a bit. They said are you in any pain, I said yes meaning my discomfort and cause I was crying I got some morphine. Couldn't feel a thing after that.
Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
For me it was the places where I'd had other surgery during my uplift op that really hurt, so to be honest my boob was the last thing on my mind really

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I put no pain or soreness, it was quite a shock especially as I had partials too, I expected to be bent over in pain, but zilch, nothing, the only inconvienience was not being able to use the muscles (I could of ! ) but didn't want the risk of damage.
I actually feel worse this past week, got a cold, flu bug, off to docs later again :) x
Oh I would go through it all again tomorrow if needed x

Re: Rate your boob job ~ pain-wise
I put painful, but im not meaning straight after the initial surgery. I felt great then, having had partials and was surprised how well i felt. But hours afterwards the backache kicked in and it is very painful getting up out of bed, it has been like this for the last 3 days! am hoping it will get easier soon as its gettting me down.
would i do it again? of course i would! dont they say ..."you have to go through pain to be beautiful!"
