Hi girls firstly how is everyone 2day??

Day 2....managed 2 get some sleep but got woken twice by nurses checking me n givin me my iv drip antibiotic and I could also hear very clearly nurses talkin whenever they checked on surrounding patients!! Never mind, will b able 2 have at least a couple of naps 2day cos I won't b goin home til early evenin, something I'm not used 2 esp with my 3 lively boys!! Pain is still mild, bearable and same as yesterday, no more n no less, only slight pain is wen I get up cos I can feel the drains slightly pullin, feels a bit like wen u quickly pull off a tight plaster so again it's bearable!! Ive had tea n toast n fruit salad, nurses here r brill n I still can't get over how good I'm feelin considering I had surgery yesterday!! My only worry now is that they look a bit further apart than I wud've liked but I will ask surgeon about this shortly and I'm thinkin once they drop they shud b fine!! Also haven't had 2 wear a bra or band which is also good but my surgeon will b givin me bras this mornin that she gets from the states that r very supportive n actually look pretty good she tells me! So far brill experience, love my boobs n wish I'd done it sooner, feelin more confident etc already!! So for any of u girls who r worried, please don't it's one of the best things I've ever done xx

Hey we are one day apart the tramadol I was on must of misted my eyes! I know exactly how you feel I managed to wear a nice baggy top on the school run and apart from looking a bit pale I got away with it...Can you wear a bra that is non wired? They do them I think you will struggle with underwired ALL day you might get a bit sore ...

The sports bra is rank but have you felt the weight without? Ouch!
Please keep in touch we can share when we start to drop :boobstick: n fluff lol

Are your boobs looking even? Mine are looking really good already but in the wrong position obviously Rolling Eyes I did do that photo sharing but I could not figure out how to make it private would be great to see how other girls are getting along 👋

Hope everybody is ok xx

Hi nvy3

Congratulations on your new boobs! I couldn't reply to your private message from my inbox as I'm a new member still. I replied in the general section. I hope you saw it before your BA. Think it's on page 2 or 3 now! Sounds like everything went really well. Hope you are happy with the size. I am and nobody has noticed and everyone keeps asking me how my back is (my cover story for not doing school runs!).

Hope your recovery goes well and you get some rest. Not easy with 3children.

Post by JoC 25th May 2011, 9:46 am

Hi Shellyj

Yes two weeks on Friday! I'm 5 days ahead of you, those extra days make a huge difference in how you feel. Back to hospital on Friday to have tapes removed and stitches out, am so desperate for a proper shower now. I am pretty much back to normal, I have seen a huge improvement in the last couple of days. I am avoiding lifting my youngest and pushing the pram though (and hoovering!). My boobs are still quite heavy and hard but definitely getting better each day and feeling more like my own. The left is dropping nicely but the right is being a bit stubborn and still quite high.

How did you get on at the hospital? Can you have a proper shower/bath? Hope you can as you've got a wedding to go to! How are the scars looking? My PS won't let the dressings come off at all for the first two weeks, I feel so disgusting not having had a proper shower. So worth it though for these lovely boobs!!!

HI All!

So far sounds like most having positive experiences which is great! It is comforting reading how others are getting on!

I have one boob higher and more swollen than the other now. Only one week old :) so realise lots more changes to go. I keep looking at them and touching them all the time. Have they gone smaller? Is the left bigger than the right? It's crazy!!!

I am already feeling booby greed - and i never thought i would!! I am really used to the 'swollen' size boobs and wish the end result would be as it is now!!!! booooooooooo!!! I need to keep reminding myself that whatever I am left with is 100% better and bigger than I had pre op!! :) lol!!!

I am not taking painkillers now. Still can't do much with the unders, but I can move around more. Reminds me of full breast when feeding and associated pains when need to express!! STill sleeping upright, but tend to wake up nearly lay flat and can't get myself up and out of bed then!!! Boobs still rock hard at morning but seem to soften ever so slightly during the day. Still stuck on look. No coming together yet. Think unders takes longer?

I feel yuk wearing the breast band. I take it off briefly to shower but haven't washed it yet - and need to!!!! does anyone know where you can buy them? Dressing off in a week so I could check with the nurse.

Booked into salon for wash and blowdry on Friday! That will be 10 days since last wash!!! The dry shampoo is a life saver but feel bit minging! Roll on Friday! My mum has been brushing my hair too (as staying with them for 3 weeks) and tieing it back - not a good look! Tried to get her to use my GHDs on the frizzy bits. Bless her!

Going out to garden centre for a little walk with mum today, just to get out of house!!! Friends trying to get me out Friday night for drinks, but don't feel ready yet - don't feel gorgeous enough or have ability to beautify myself! Maybe few early evening drinks as tummy still huge! Not enjoying looking preggers at all!! I asked for 2 bumps not 3! :)

x

Ugghhh...I returned to normal today did the whole house, my boobs are **naughty word** killing (sorry no other word wud of cut it) I had to nap on the sofa whilst my Son slept and missed my lunch date. I hope all this sudden pain is from lifting things and pegging out washing..Worried I have damaged myself now I hope they don't bleed inside feel really stupid...

I can't ring my nurse she will kill me it's only day 6. I'm an idiot.

Yes the boulder feeling I found quite staggering they are heavier than milk 4 sure! I hurt myself today (read prior post) and have the worst pain yet.. nope
The shrug sounds lovely you have to be comfortable (says me lifting the washing machine to hoover behind)

Mine were miles apart but are touching now but they were before when I was BF they were very close so it's my anatomy. I think they may move again a few times before they settle so don't worry it's so new xxx Gotta go hun I'm in pain so gonna try to get some lunch (ouch ouch) xxxx

I'm not having my things taken off for another week...The place where the drains were has been the most painful I'm still swollen out sideways a bit too ...Glad your healing well I overdid it yesterday was in such pain, I spoke to the nurse but i'm taking easy from now on :good: I'm away this w.emd taking a wheelie case, my OH was not too pleased but he is fine we had a long chat yesterday, I think comments he made over the last week were building up and you don't need that on top of the GA BA and any other thing also lol...Oh yes a bath sounds lush..We don't actually own one yet only a shower room downstairs and our en-suite (were renovating) but yes heaven xxxx

Just find it hard in the mornin with the whole morning boob thingy!! 2day I took my eldest 2 school but will drive OH's car 4 the next few days as I found it uncomfortable changing gears and his is an automatic!! The other thing on day 3 I started feelin pins n needles in my arms so had a quick look on here n that's 2 do wiv nerves but not had it since! The other thing I would say to anyone who hasn't had their ba yet is 2 take arnica cos I'm sure it's because of the arnica that I had no bruising aftawards! Anyway hope everyone else is doin well x
