Re: May Buddies
Hi flo jo. I had mine done monday and I was a bag of nerves lol. Im absolutly fine now a small bit of bruising pain but its so minimal. Day 3 I found to be by far the worst day but I do think that has alot to do with the GA leaving the system. But over all I have been pleasently suprised!
Where are you having yours done? x x

Thanks Kezza85 I felt quite calm under reading these posts! I going to Abbey Riverside also, I'm having Mr Khan. I was booked to see Mr Nathan but the BA op dates just didn't quite work for me. Nice to hear your feeling better already x

Hi Jasmine, I'm i for my BA with Mr Alvi on Wednesday, how did everything go? Did they give you any good advicefor post op care? Hope your heeling well hun x
Hi Kezmac,
I felt I could really trust mr Alvi. I had my op at Renacres in Ormskirk. The op took double the amount of time as he wanted to do his best to correct my assymetry. He took different sizers in and 7 people all looked at me from different angles before they collectively came up with the end result! Reassuring! :)
I have slight bruising and have more pain as i had unders but it is bearable. I am wearing a band which is a pain as I have no clothes to hide it. But I am so far feeling good after a horrible time in hopsital. Only due to me not dealing well with anesthetic, not due to their care.
he came to see me before the procedure and the next day before I went home. I was due to be discharged at 10am, but he said to stay till I felt well enough and to make sure I could keep food down. So I didn't feel rushed out. I left just before 3pm the next day.
As for post op care, I haven't been given anything in the way of leaflets. Just a wound care doc from nursing staff. Just verbally what he told me to do and not do really. You always can ring up if need advice I am sure.
He said don't do anything for 3 weeks. no lifting, stretching etc. keep arms close to sides as can so unders don't move. until scar tissue has developed around to prevent this. no heavy lifting for 6 weeks.
Hope it goes well for you!!! I see him again for 6 weeks check, dressing off in week and half at local hospital.

Re: May Buddies
Getting past day 3 is a mini milestone....
I have had no painkillers and been out of bed...I think if you have surgery behind the muscle it can be more painful, more deep tissue is cut and I think it does limit what you can/cannot do...
I had behind and high profile...I would say don't leap out of bed or rush to do anything until day 3, the GA can hang around so just do hour by hour
Nice to read all the updates...Big hugs xx

Re: May Buddies
Hi all.. Ive got boobs!!!! :) no regrets whatsoever!! So far the whole thing has surprised me!! Woke up from the GA feelin very sleepy for the best part of 2 hours but no sickness, very dry mouth and starving!! Went for 240g moderates, under the muscle, and it's true... It's not painful just discomfort but bearable..feels a little bit wen ur milk comes in (4 those of u who have had kids!) and kinda feels like mastitis, only feel pain if i put pressure on the pec muscles n can move my arms 2 shoulder level without 2 much discomfort, but bear in mind that I'm on painkillers, if things dont get worse then I'll b really happy!! Anyone know if the pain will worsen or is this about as worse it gets??
Happy with result as I wanted 2 look quite natural n not go 2 big!! Will update 2mro 2 let all know how I'm feeling on day 2!! xx
