Hey Dolls,
I have a question for those of you who have tried any type of healing/swelling remedies pre and post op. Does Arnika Montana or boron arnica gel work? I've read a bit about it but I'm just not sure if it's worth the price or if it actualy helps?! So if y'all can give me any info on any remedies please do! Thanks xxxx

Hey I took the arnica Montana pills starting 3 days before my BA. I didnt have too much bruising after so I think it helped. I did have some bruising in my cleavage area so I used the gel on it. It went away in about 2 or 3 days. And it helped with the swelling also. I got them from my PS office as they told me it would help.

Yes, I took the arnica pillules which are not very expensive from Boot's. You can also buy them off Ebay
I had very little bruising - just a faint yellow tinge beneath my breast fold - so it worked as far as I am concerned as I normally bruise quite easily.

I used Arnica tablets a week before and a week after and didn't have any bruising at all, I usually bruise quite easily so I'm sure they helped....
I also bought the Arnica gel but didn't have to use it. I know some girls on here have used Arnica but they still bruised, maybe not as much as they would have done without it, so I would use it anyway, as it's not going to do you any harm and it could help. xx

I'm not sure but that's a good question! It would save on shipping costs and the wait! So far all I know is you can get them off line..

Hi - I was advised by my PS to take them 1 week before to 1 week after & I was amazed after the first week when strapping came off that I had only faint brising on underneath of one side - also had very little swelling.

There are 2 strengths of arnica - 6C & 30C - I took the 30C as it's the stronger one I think
