Re: March Buddies!
Congrats Alishajay!
I had my first check up and bandages off today...anyone who has had dr Khan will be familiar with the giant plaster he sticks on your chest. It bloody killed having that pealed off! It was like being waxed in slow motion. I have blood red bruises in lines from it. One near each armpit and one underneath my left boob but on the ribs. I thought it was the incision when I looked in the mirror and was about to say 'what the bloody hell did he cut so low for!' but it turned out to be a long thin bruise.
It was the worst part of this whole boob affair having that thing ripped off! but it feels good now it's off. I can breathe easier and it doesn't feel as heavy.
The nurse held a mirror up to my chest for me to see once all dressings were off, but I had the uplift only on the right side and I couldn't stomach it. I was like 'nope, can't look yet' and nearly fainted. I looked for about 2-3 seconds and I must say I'm very pleased with the size and shape, as I was quite asymmetric before. I had another look once she put new dressings on the uplift incisions. I think he's got them very well matched. It was just a bit gory for me. It's funny I love watching horror films and I can look at other people with blood and cuts and feel fine, but I can't look at it on myself.
I'll look again in a months time haha.
Back to work tomorrow! Can't take the boredom anymore! Still can't have a sodding shower until next week though :(
Hope everyone's healing is going well.

Oh noooooo Malibu!
I'm getting my khan dressings off tomorrow! EEK!
But I'm used to being waxed everywhere so I'm hoping ill be ok! This is the part I've dreaded the most about everything. The op or pain didn't bother me. But having the wrapping off did!xxx

Re: March Buddies!
great news malibu!
I found it so odd how the instructions are so different from uk / canada. I had my bandages taken off after 48 hours and could shower after that. and yet you just had your bandages off and still can not shower yet. weird! :dunno:
Good to know you're doing well though! It's hard for me to like my boobs right now because I still have stitches and type with blood on them -.- so i know what you mean!

Re: March Buddies!
Hi Girls!
It has been a busy couple days for me. Starting to get back to normal so not as much time to relax and catch up on this site. Just have to say I am so proud of us all!!! It has been a journey and we have done it together!! I really believe if it was not for the support I recieved here I would have backed out. So Glad I did it!! I am loving my new boobies!!!! Can't wait for them to heal so I can really enjoy them. I get to ditch the surgical bra next week and that is going to be wonderful!!
From excitement, being scared, having nasty boobie blues, hating my boobs to loving my boobs. Just want any of you girls that have just had your surgery to know that things will get better!!!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
Ellemblondie--- Your profile pic is great! You are giving me boob greed!!!

Re: March Buddies!
Ah lovely to read such a cheerful message candycain!
Hi ssjj25, I had my op last friday, and I went back to work today. So it was 10 days total, 7 working days off from work. I usually do 9-6, but I did 9.30 to 4.50 today. I work in central London and there's no way I could handle rush hour on the underground. I'm lucky my manager is very understanding and doesn't mind. I'm very tired after today!
I'm afraid I don't drive so I can't really advise much on that, but according to the nurse I saw yesterday I'd be able to drive by now.
Congrats and happy healing!

Re: March Buddies!
Hi girls,
I have been away for a while and I just wanted to say congrats to all the march girls who have made it thru! I am so glad u all are doing so well!!
My BA day is on the very last day of march so I hope I send us march girls off on a good note and that all goes well!
I don't really have any nerves or fears yet.. I think that will come tomorrow night! I'm getting excited now so that's good. Plus tomorrows my last day of work so yay me!!!
I will be putting videos up on YouTube about my experience (I hope). I go to YouTube for everything, makeup tutorials, pregnancy vlogs (when I was preggers) hair tutorials, so when I decided to go thru with my BA I of course turned to YouTube for some helpful insite but I didn't find too many videos on personal experiences with their BA... I think it's mostly because it's a personal experience and plus I can only imagine the negative comments some people will post about the videos but I personally don't care what other (negative) people think and I think it might be a little helpful for someone who is preba. So once I post the videos is y'all wanna watch them ill give u the link.
Ok sorry to go on a tangent! Lol
Hope everyone has a lovely night!

Hey Girls,
Sounds like everyone is doing well!
Alishya - I was reading your posts before your surgery & felt for you. I am so happy you made it through it. That feeling before you go in, while you are drawn on, is freaking wierd! Too much to handle!
Lola - I can't believe you are a week post op! Are you happy??!?! The size sounds fantastic! Did you go unders or overs!?
CandyCain - I read that you were loving your boobies! I seriously am sooo happy to see this!!! You really did go through it all. And thanks for the compliment on my profile pic, much appreciated!
Aimeencb & Charms your day is approaching!! So excited for you! If you get any nervousness you just talk to any of us. It's still fresh all the emotions I went through!
xoxo
