Candycain, I have been trying to fallow this threat as much as I can and I have been trying to keep up on how u have been, I just wanted to say also how happy I am for u to have gotten over your blues! I felt ur pain thru your post and you have brought a better understanding to the different emotional effects this (BA) has on us! Now if I happen to go thru that or someone else they will see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel! So thanks for sharing!!

Good luck Lolo....had mine yesterday.......just woken this morning to have my painkillers and antibiotics...and breakie yum! I am not too bad (touch wood) just red eyed from lack of sleep...I wore an eye mask and ear plugs, but its just sitting upright and trying to sleep is most difficult....only 6 nights to go like that though.......is that the norm girls?

Hi ssjj! Yeyyyyy your feeling ok. I was told 14 days sleeping upright so bloody uncomfy but if I'm honest last night I rrolled onto my side last nigght with my full body pillow and it was so uncomfy!

Elle- I know a week already! How quick has that gone. Had the big reveals yesterday and am soooooo happy with the results!!!! I have really bad pain in my ribs today. Can't work out if its where the tape was pulled off or deeper. But am planning on staying put on the sofa today to rest up.... Got a lady coming round to give me a pedicure and massage.... Amazing! Xxxx

Think I will try and do the same with regards to sleeping as don't want to ruin anything!
Had the nurse laughing at me last night as was sitting up painting my toe nails and finger nails about 10pm.....
Just getting ready now to leave......brave the outdoors.....feel like I could sleep for 24hrs though....

Havent been on for ages, as I have been up to my eyeballs catching up wiht work and I got food poisoning or a bug at the weekend, but over that now.

I'm pretty much 3 weeks now but still feel discomfort(not really pain) - is everyone else feeling that? It most noticeable in the morning but my boobs feel like there is a tight muscle inside that pulls? Also I'm getting pins and needles int he breast andmy skin feels liek it has sunburn and if i dont wear a bra then clothing fabric make them sore?

And lastly a bit of advice fomr you girls if poss, I am now sleeping o my back almost flat with beteen 2/3 pillows for my head, but when i wake in the morning i get the most horrible back band (its like a band of tight muscle across shoulderblade level - does nay one else get this ir does anyone else have sleeping suggestions as at this stage i should be getting back to normal?

Also i tried driving yesterday and the seatbelt hurt- anyone else?


Sorry its a long one and bit of whinge list but this is the place for those that have been there done that : )

Yes it has been an emotioanl journey and feeling guilty about spending $ 9000 made the blues worse. I think it is important for everyone to realize these blues can hit hard. I even layed in bed with crazy thoughts about having them taken out. Crazy! Things do get better. It was 3 weeks yesterday so it is hard to believe how depressed I was. The bloated belley did not help. Girls... Get yourseft some high fiber foods and even prune juice to drink from day one.
Now I just need to loose the fat I gained. Can't blame the rest on the bloat now..
Best wishes for the girls yet to be done. Only one march day left.

I just went to have a check up at my regular nurse because I'm on the pill. She weighed me and said 'oh you've put on weight, you've gained 3 pounds'.
I was thinking...I hope that is all the implants and not the fact that I've been stuffing my face with chocolates! haha
I wonder how much the implants weigh...does anyone else know what they gained after? They I only had small ones but they certainly feel heavy!

Malibu- I got told my 410s will weigh about 3lbs combined.
I've put on 10lbs so I'm hoping that's wrong otherwise I've gained 7lbs somewhere else! Haha xxxx

Well I got 360cc and was told they weigh about 2lbs. I was 10 lbs heavier after the surgery. Now it is 3 weeks and I am. 8 lbs heavier!! I have definitly gained weight on the rest of me.
Sitting around stuffing my face. Now I have to attmpt to work it off.

Hi lolo,

Congrats! Like me you had 420 unders and when i looked down at them i was like wow they dont really look that diferent. I have since discovered that straight after surgery the muscle is in trauma so clenched very tightly round the implants. As the swelling reduces and your muscle relazes you breast will get bigger, it'll srtat after 3 days even. Then at somepoint between 3 and 12 weeks your boobs will drop and fluff, the bottom becomes rounder, they will be less pointy and the bottom fills out. Hope that helps

EJM--- I am having alot of pain in my right boob. I get the burning and pins and needles too. Think that means they are healing. They got much softer this week. I sleep on my side some and on my back. My right side is strange though if I roll over too much on it I can feel the implant and it hurts. Feels like it moves too. I am also getting pain in my right boob when I do anything with my right arm. I drove the other day and that even hurt the right one. The other strange thing is I swear they swell back up at times. I wonder if that is normal. I am going to take it easy tomorrow and see if that helps. Other then the extra lbs I need to loose I feel good. loving the boobs but with the bigger boobs and few extra pounds I feel fat and flabby.

Anyway it sounds like we are progressing at about the same rate. Hard to believe it has been 3 weeks all ready!!!

Hope you girls are ok Can't wait to get back to normal now I'm actually quite proud of myself iv only taken 3 pains killers over 4 days :) when do they start to not be so pointy? I'm getting a bit worried lol xxx

I felt the same about them being pointy but they will change. Mine are already less pointy and are getting rounder. I think it all takes time hun, we just have 2 be patient, 6 weeks we should have better results. xx

I hope so. I had overs. I feel like I can move my arms but I keep getting shouted at when I do cause I'm not meant to. I feel ok can't stand up for to long tho as I seem to be hunching forward!?? Which hurts my back can't complain to much. Of to the salon tomoz to get my nails and hair done (not to work) lol maybe il feel a Bit more humAn xxx

Alisha, the nails and hair done at salon sounds lovely, hope you enjoy it for all its worth, I just want a massage but probably can't get one of those for atleast another 2 months!

Got out of surgery about 7 hours ago and all I can at is ouch, ouch,ouuuuch! =(

Hi Everyone,

First time on in a few days, nice to hear how you're all doing. I'm doing fine. It's interesting to see how each side is healing up as I had an implant on one side and an uplift on the other. The implant side is great, the scar is healing really well. The uplift side is still uncomfortable though, itchy and the last couple of days the scar has been weeping a wee bit. Is it normal for it to weep now when it hasn't done so far? I did wonder if I had been overdoing things. I'm just about back to doing everything now except really heavy lifting. Back to the gym next week. I haven't gained weight but am def feeling flabby. Been eating biscuits far too much!
I have a hen night on Sat night so am thinking of wearing a normal bra but taking my sports bra in my bag just in case. Managed to go to the concert last week, just did a lot more swaying than bouncing :)

Likewise LB!!!! You girls have been a real help to me too....its SO nice to know that you ladies have been through the same thing and you are there to help with any concerns with new boobies.......it does make you feel better.....this site is great!!!
Just can't wait now to be 100% normal and be able to get back to doing everyday things......soooooo looking forward to a night out and being able to dance without damaging the new additions haha!!!
Just going to have a nice chilllllllled weekend now...in preparation for work next Weds!! X
