Re: March Buddies!
Hi girls.
As one of the last March girls I am hoping you can give me the answers to my many questions!!
I had 420cc unders on the 30th which my surgeon said would take me to at least a DD but I'd say they are a D at most and am really disappointed. With them being unders is there any chance of them getting bigger when the muscle relaxes? I was hoping that it was the muscle that was making them appear smaller.
If any of you have experienced this could you please help put my mind at ease :)
Thanks girlies xxx

Re: March Buddies!
Lolo, i did some research online and i came up with this.
Advantages For Under Muscle Placement:
-Placing the implants under the chest muscle tend to make for a more natural look, as the extra covering of muscle does a better job of hiding the edges of the implant and any rippling that may occur. This is especially the case for very small-breasted women who don’t have a lot of breast tissue to start with.
-Lower risk of capsular contracture.
-Lower risk of interfering with a mammogram.
-Less possibility of bottoming out of implants, as the muscles help keep them in place.
Disadvantages:
-Cleavage is less pronounced.
-Recovery time is longer and more painful because the muscles have to be manipulated.
-This will not work well for athletic women with strong chest muscles as the implants will shift when muscles are flexed.
I have unders as well and was expecting to go to a DD but i too feel like im smaller more like a D. I will keep looking online for more info.

Re: March Buddies!
Hey Girls,
Lolo - I had 400 unders just over a month ago and am in a DD but I had about a larger B, smaller C prior. I do know that we may have what they call 'fluffing' happen. I believe this is when the muscle eventually relaxes around the implant our boobies can get bigger. I have read that some of the women on here have gone up a size too. There really is just sooo many changes we have to wait for with these things!
So glad everyone else is doing well!
Aimee!!! I'm so happy for you - you're day finally came!!!

Re: March Buddies!
I am actually praying for a little fluffing. They say it can happen for overs so I am hoping. And to think I thought they were too big at first!! Ha! Now that the swelling is gone they seem small. According to wonder bra I am a 34c. Wishing for a d. Better than what I had though!!!
Yesterday I developed a lot of large blue veins. I posted this earlir but thought I would mention it here too. Also morning boob is BACK!!! Anyone else dealing with veins showing up weeks after surgery?
really glad we are all doing so well. Can't beleve the month has come and gone!! Congrats to all the girls that just had their BAs!!!

Re: March Buddies!
A little update on me,
So I had my tape and wrappings taken off today.. The tape hurt so flipin bad! I think that was the worst part lol.. The tape actually cut into me and i bleed a little. It left some soars as well. So i have a bunch of weird looking whelts on my boobies the my PS said will go away in a few days.
I am in love with my boobies and I am so excited for them to fluff and drop!! One is a tad bit bigger than the other but it's not really noticable so it doesnt bother me and because i got silicone they couldnt even them out but my PS told me not to worry because it wasnt that big of a difference.
They sit high in my cheat right now but even so they still look great! I feel they are a little smaller than what I wanted but I think it's just boobie greed and I'm hoping they will get bigger once they fluff out!

Re: March Buddies!
Hi everyone! Hope everything is going well for you all!
Alishajay I still have scabs from that sodding tape and I had it off over a week ago now!
Even though I'm 17 days post op I only just saw my boobs full on...no bandages for the first time properly today (couldn't look for more than 2 seconds last time - I nearly passed out)
They are better than I ever imagined! I spent so many years with uneven breasts and spent years perfecting how to hide the difference - by wearing certain clothes or having to wear a brooch in the middle of dresses to make the fabric sit properly. I'll never have to do that again! My surgeon also warned me that I'll never have even breasts because I was such a difficult case but he has actually surpassed himself. If I was to scrutinize I would say the side that was smallest before is now ever so slightly bigger. But the nipples are identical (had uplift on the right) and in the same place. I'm so pleased.
The uplift scar is still super gory though I think the more I look at it the less I'm scared of it though and it's so neat I think it will heal very well.
I've decided not to take pictures of the healing process because I don't want to pick at little details - I'm just going to take them as what I get when I look in the mirror. So far so good!
I'm finally allowed a full on proper shower! after 17 bloody days of sponge baths and wrapping clingfilm around my chest (don't try this it doesn't work it just gets really heavy and falls off in the shower then you have to jump out and freak out about the damp patches on your boobs) IM OFF TO HAVE A MASSIVE LONG BIG FAT SHOWER NOW!

Re: March Buddies!
Charms, thanks I am very happy!
I was worried because I thought I might have needed a lift but after the reveal today I am 100% satisfied, well besides the boob greed lol.
I don't like the numb feeling that my boobs have or the nipple sensitivity.. I could live without that for sure but I will have to just deal with it until it passes..
I also have to wear a strap to help them drop and settle and I'm finding it very hard to cover it with any of my clothes, it looks a bit odd and wonky under my tops so when i can tale that off it will be wonderful!
Well i will be posting pics tomorrow for anyone who wants to see..

6 days post op - HELP.
Hi ladies,
I'm 6 days post op after having 295 cc anatomical overs at THG, and was just wondering how you other ladies were feeling?? My left boob hurts when i lean forward.......is that normal?!! I've been to have my dressings removed today, and the nurse said everything looked fine. They are quite bruised around the incisions, so maybe that is where the pain is coming from?? Anyway, i'd really appreciate a bit of feedback from you post op ladies. I'm not a regular 'writer' on here, but am on all the time reading stuff. Hope you're all healing well, and loving your new boobies!! Thanx, Nicola. xx

Re: March Buddies!
Hi Littlewilko
I'm 7 days post op with 380/410 overs......I'm still all wrapped up, and my stiches are starting to sting a bit......I also get slight pain when I lean forward. And especially first thing in the morning when I get up....even though I'm still sleeping propped slightly up, I tend to move very slowly just so the blood doesn't rush into my boobs, as thats when it feels uncomfy.
I haven't seen what my boobs look like under the tape and mine isn't coming off until next Monday boooooo....even thought its starting to lift a bit.
So all in all....feeling a bit stingy and feels like the nerves are starting to nit togther again.....Think its just going to take a bit of time.....
I'm going back to work tomorrow after 1 week off....hopefully driving won't be a problem :) XX

Re: March Buddies!
im glad you're happy aimeencb.... maybe soon i will have been here long enough to see some pictures too :}} ive been taking pics but they are not very impressive yet, i look super cute in clothes but without its a bit mm .. extreme still!//
and do you mean you are in general, more sensitive or less?// did they say that would change with time? i seem to be much more sensitive all over, and am very happy for that... everything seems to feel more sensiitive in a good way now they are back to normal size/shape and im -very- happy for that. (being too loose made them totally numb) :<<
Malibu - its awesome you are happy too... i could just feel how happy you are from what you wrote - and i hope you reeeeeeeeally enjoyed that shower. ^^
also nicola, my left one hurts more too, also if i bend over, but i had a different procedure from most ofy'all though. honestly in my case i partially think its my posture! i think i habitually stoop more on that side.. standing up straighter made it less sore underneath where my incision is. //

Thanx ladies...
I had my first proper shower today, it was amazing!!! And i was brave enough to take my dressings off and have a look. The nurse took them off yesterday but put some new ones on as i didn't feel comfortable without them!! Yes, i get pain in the morning, but am also still getting a pain in my left boob. Its really wierd, it comes and goes, but when it comes its like a searing pain, but then its gone again. Sometimes there is a tender area that hurts when i touch it, but then sometimes its doesn't hurt at all. Sorry, i know it sounds really odd!! Its always in the same area. I'm sure it will settle down. I actually managed to lie on my side in bed this morning too, so am obviously on the mend. Just can't wait for them to drop a little now, as they look slightly too high. How are you all getting on? Nicola. xx

I had the feeling like the implant was moving more in my right boob. It drove me near nuts! Then it started happening in my left. 2 day later they dropped and seemed to settle into more of a natural look. Not really sure if that had anything to do with it or not though.

Aimeencb- I really noticed they seemrd to drop around 3 weeks. Actually a bit before that. it's like they changed overnight. I wish I had of been more deligent with pictures. I would say the swelling is all gone now. At least I hope. Don't want then shrinking anymore! They even move together when I lay on my side now.

Numbness
Hi Aimmencb, charms and candycain,
Sorry to hear you're still feeling numb etc.. I think i've been pretty lucky really as i don't seem to have any numbness at all, and can still feel my nipples!! I haven't had any over sensitivity either. I do still have the on and off searing pain though. If i move my left arm too much it twinges in my left boob and then goes away. Maybe its beacuse i'm not numb!!!! Dressings are completely off now and incisions look fine. Just waiting for them to drop a bit now, and still don't feel like i'm standing up straight so getting backache!!
Candycain - do you have any pics please, as we had similiar implants??
Nicola. xx
