Re: March Buddies!
You have done so well up to now hunnie managing to overcome all those fears which you had when you first joined the forum. In fact you gained strength and even managed to help lots of the other girls with their journeys with your courage.
So no need for that calmness to change, you have your courage and determination to get you through and beyond the winners post, because that's what we all are, the girls who have had their ba's, winners.
xx

Re: March Buddies!
Good luck hun!! Can't wait to hear how it's gone!!
Amieencb - I havent been told I'm allowed to sleep on my side yet and dont think I should be but I couldnt take it anymore! I'm a side sleeper and find it difficult to fall asleep on my side so I just had to! Did it again last night with less pillows and was on my side the whole night, was bliss! And for the first time since my op, I practically had no pain at all this morning! So absolutely no pain killers for me today! So I'm in a very good mood today! I've even managed to have a drive to the shop aswell with not really any problems, just 5th gear was abit of a pain!
Lindylou- I was just wondering how uni went y'day, did you manage?! Hope everything was okay and it wasn't too much for you.
Hope everyone else is feeling good today! xx

Aww bless her, she will probably be going up for her op about now and in about 2 hours time we will get a very GA induced garbled message saying how wonderful they are and a smile which would shame the infamous Cheshire cat.

I hope I feel as calm as candycain when its my turn, i literally have a day and half left. I cant believe its coming, its really going to happen. Its weird and a bit dreamlike. Hope i dont have a panic attack, i dont suppose they will operate if you pass out. I'm going to London this afternoon to visit some friends and stay over then we are going bra shopping tomo am, so hopefully that will distract me and kill some time. Will check in when i get home,
Fingers crossed for all tuesdays girls

Re: March Buddies!
Hi girls!
Shiv I'm so jealous of you sleeping on your side, it sounds blissful. I'm with you on the feeling really good though. Yesterday was brilliant and I felt absolutely fine going into uni, just a little tired. Today was a bit difficult because I had to briefly hold my 8 month old in my arms while my OH grabbed our son quickly, and it was NOT a pleasant experience. Then earlier at uni I went to open a big heavy door with my left hand and felt the muscle in my chest really squeeze... it was a strange sensation and I still haven't got over it really... must take it more carefully in future!
I'm having my stitches out tomorrow.. when are your dressings coming off everyone? Does anyone else feel like they're dropping yet? I mean, I don't know if it's even possible this early, but the lower pole of my left breast definitely seems a bit fuller and I'm looking a little less pointy already... I just would have thought it would be another couple of weeks at least!
I think Candy did it the smart way as she got all of her fears out of the way a couple of days before the op, and now she's on her way feeling all excited and calm. I wonder if she's dreaming of posting to us on this forum?! Lol. Hope to hear from serenade and auriga soon too!!!

Re: March Buddies!
Hey girls! I just managed to get my laptop setup, sorry it took so long!
Everything went fine!! I have just got up to use the bathroom for the first time which was fine. Apart from right after I have not needed any pain relief at all! I did sleep most of the afternoon after the GA but generally feel fine apart from tightness of course.
I'll be looking out for updates from Candy and will post up more later =O)

Re: March Buddies!
I know what you mean by the feeling of squeezing when opening that door I've had that when I've tried to pick something heavy up or when I changed to 5th gear today! Not nice!! When sleeping just go with how your body feels, I just decided to try on my side and it was abit uncomfortable at first but eventually found a position comfortable.
I'm not getting my dressings off until thursday afternoon, but I've got dissolvable stitches. I keep feeling them to see if they've gone but not yet!! I'll get to see on thursday tho. Mine feel like hey are dropping very slightly too, and softening up abit, I am surprised at how quickly they are healing!
Really excited for the girls to post on here now today, more girls to join the boobie club with us!

Re: March Buddies!
Congratulations Serenade!!!
Glad to hear it went so well for you hun! Have you had a sneaky peek yet? Make sure you get lots more rest!!
Shiv - I'm really nervous to sleep on my side in case my anatomicals decide they want to switch up their position and end up pointing sideways!!! lol. I haven't suffered too badly though as I've been laying nearly flat on my back. I don't know how long dissolvable stitches take to go, but I hope they go soon for you!! I keep thinking its too soon for me to have my stitches out and that the incision will just suddenly pop open and my implants will fall out!!!!

I'm strapped up so can't see much, but I did just take a sneaky peakie! Looking good, the size seems about right for me. I was wondering if they may be too big but i don't think so. I can feel sensation if i press gently around my nipples. =OD

Re: March Buddies!
Serenade,
You are too funny.... I can't believe you are going pain pill free! Plus the tv remote 'incident'. You are in good spirits which is fantastic. I don't blame you for taking your sneak peek. Apparently ,when I came out of surgery I was trying to sit up and look at them and told the nurses "they don't look any different". Which is funny because I had 400's put in and they are DEFINITELY big - at least to me.
Keep up the good mood hun!
xoxo

Congratulations on joining the Boobie Club SerenadeEverything went fine!!
Wonderful to hear that everything went well. I don't think any of us can resist peeking down our PJ's (well, I was peeking all afternoon If I am to be totally honest). It's so wonderful to see those Twin Peaks there.

Re: March Buddies!
hehe Elle! They deffo look different, i just had a look while i was standing up to take a wee (by myself - come on!) and they do look bigto me, a lot bigger anyway but not too big i think.
I did just wuss out and take some pain killers after going for a wee.
Lol Carol and thank you! I can't wait to get a good look!
I think maybe the theatre people thought i was a bit mental though, I was giggling as they got me ready, did the drip and sent me off to sleep, I saw Mr Chantarasak all in his scrubs and mask and hat sitting on a stool with his legs up on a trolley thing reading the paper and I just couldnt stop giggling!
Thanks Elle, why not be in good spirits, I have new boobies!
How are you doing now on day 4 ducks?
xx

Yes, thinking of u loads Candycain, hope ur ok dearie!!
Thanks flowergirl, just had a peep with the nurse and she said they are looking good. I'm doing good at the moment but think maybe I over did it just now moving my dinner tray so I will confine myself to bed for the moment!
Glad I am helping u, I dont think theres much to worry about but plenty to be excited about. It hasnt sunk in yet (of course) and because of my glasses my whole boob area is blurred anyway but I'm sure the realities will kick in tomorrow. The nurse told me the bandages and tape is all coming off tomorrow and I am puttin on my bra! With help of course!
