Just a bit of advice would be great..
Had my BA on 11 Jan 10, 360 HR nagor overs, and my naughty leftie is still not dropping! Spoke to my Ps about a month ago and now wearing a chest strap to see if that helps... ( no luck so far).
Just over the last couple of weeks i keep geeting shooting pains, twinges and feeling tender esp. around the nipple, not bad pain but the right has settled so well and it just feels normal whereas the left doesnt. Had all these pains before I started wearing the chest strap. Recovery on my left was very painful and took longer to settle. I am kinda hoping its the implant dropping? I know its still early days and lots of changes to go just wondered if anyone has had the same or similar experance? and is this normal? worried about CC am i developing it? they feel exactly the same.
Any advice would be great and booking back in to see my PS in July for my 6 month check.
thanks xxx

Hi hun. My leftie dropped again at 5 months and then I had to wait for rightie to catch up. I always found I had twinges and shooting pains when my boobies were changing.

Hi, I'm nearly 1 year post op, and I still get odd shooting pains now and then. Don't think its anything to worry about. Your left breast will drop when its ready, but if you do have any major concerns then a quick phone call to your patient co-ordinator may help you.

Hey lovely,

You have to treat each boob as a seperate operation, so don't worry if one seems to be healing slower.

If you're very concered please contact your surgeon though, I'm sure he'll put your mind at ease.

I still get the odd twinges and shooting pain too, it's all part of the healing process, so don't worry too much.

I agree with Roxy, if your overly concerned, I would speak to your clinic/surgeon as soon as possible. You did pay for aftercare after all hun and this is what they are there for.
