Advice please, 3 months and still painful??? Empty Advice please, 3 months and still painful???

Post by jayjay77 13th November 2010, 8:02 pm

Hi there,

I thought everything was going well but I thought the twinges/pain/numbness would have come to an end by now. I have soreness when I lie flat on my tummy (always slept like that previous to op) so have to sleep on side. I still get the odd shooting pain and I still have numbness under my right breast. Are the above simply symptoms of having a boob job and things I need to live with from now on or will things get better.....?? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.x

I didn't feel comfortable sleeping flat on my front until about 7-9 months post op. The twinges lasted a year off and on and numbness lasted just over a year.
You are still really early in your recovery and it does take a full year to completely recover. So dont panic, it's normal.

Thanks misf1. It's good to hear that it's all normal. The pains are sometimes so sharp that they take my breath away. Suppose I will just have to sit it out. x
