Hey babe

I know you had a nose and boob op at the same time and that is what i'm having done next week. I Haven't told anyone at work so hoping the bruising will be minimal by the time i go back after 2 weeks off (and will be taking arnica to see if that helps) or at least be coverable by makeup.

How was your facial brusing and was it massively noticible still after 2 weeks? Feeling quite anxious about it now. Don't want to draw attention to the fact i've had my nose done otherwise it might draw attention to the boobs and i definitely want to keep that under my hat (or my top so to speak!).

Also, how is it in general having your nose done? I'm dreading having the packing in and then having to have it removed more than I am dreading having the actual op. Not sure why but that is the bit that makes me feel a little queasy. Same for the boob drains - not worried about the op, but scared I will have drains.

Sorry for so many questions - no worries if you would prefer not to answer. Bit scared to do a random google search as i'm more likely to throw up some horror stories or photos and that would definitely result in me cancelling the op!!!

Thanks hon xxx

hi hun, defo take arnica, i took mine few weeks before op and up to a week after, bruising was just yellow eyes, defo coverable with make up, tho make u going on the face doesnt blend like it normally does.

to be honest boobs hurt more than my nose, and the boobs didnt hurt, i was more uncomfortable with the boobs.

the pack was annoying, but i had mine out after 5 days, stitches coming out was fine, the pack coming out was fine and a relief as u have to change the gauze as it bleeds alot for first few days.

Be warned tho the swelling with nose does not go down for weeks and weeks, mine still is not 100 pc, my surgeon says a year.

and the tip is raised ALOT, so i looked like miss piggy for few months, so you have to be patient. i love my nose now.

If you wana see my pics im happy to share, got some with my plaster on,lol. oh are you having open or closed rhino? xx

The scarring will be internal so I think i'm having closed.

I would love to see some pics so I know what to expect if you don't mind. I'm anxious about what google would throw up if I search on there.

My mum is convinced that i'm going to end up with a nose like Jodie Marsh, even though i keep reassuring her that it will take time to settle - think she is more nervous about it than me, lol/

Thanks babe xx

I feel better knowing that its the easiest op as I am feeling quite relaxed about getting the boobs done, so if the nose is easier then it should be fine.

I can't believe i've got less than a week - it has dragged on for quite a while yet the final week is suddenly flying by. Probably just as well really, less time for nerves or changing my mind!

Wow - your surgeon did a fab job with your nose and boobs - hope i'm as lucky.

The bruising didn't look anywhere near as bad as i thought it might, but then i guess we are all different so i could bruise a lot worse than you.

I feel really excited again now. Thanks for sharing xxx
