Re: May Buddies!
I need to investigate this V pillow everyone is talking about! I don't think I am going to be able to sleep the week before surgery (excitement!) So hopefully that will make it possible for me to sleep on my back!!

Re: May Buddies!
hey ladies, 2 days after op...........OUCH!!!
felt fine the day i had it done and also the morning after so think i might of over done things a little as felt really good. today is a different matter, had a really really bads night sleep and feel like a 90 year old women this morning with a bad back and shoulder pains from being a hunchback!!! im really worried my sports bra is too tight? i was a 34 before, so just bought a 34 with a bigger cup size and it feels sooo tight and where its resting on my scars really uncomfortable. Re: May Buddies!
sorry your not feeling good amie, I have heard from the other girls on here that they normally go up a band size for a little while after the op to accomodate for swelling!
Welcome to may board wyliemase. I have seen a v pillow in argos for 7.99 not sure how good it is but thinking of getting one myself.

Hi Girls
I'm findind the sleeping on my back and raised the worst thing, I wake up with terrible backache.
I just wish mine would soften a bit, if they stay like this I'll hate them!

Re: May Buddies!
I know how you feel ang24ang, i've only got 9 days until my op and that still feels like forever. Time does go so slowly when you are waiting for something.
I'm veering between excited and nervous. I'm mostly excited but occasionally get really bad butterflies for a few mins and then they pass.

Re: May Buddies!
Sorry to hear you are having a bad time Amie, you should take it easy and rest up. If your bra is rubbing on your scars I have heard that cotton wool helps so maybe you can try that? Hope you feel better soon x

I am so glad I am not the only one with butterflies in my stomach! I think being put to sleep is the most scary part for me!

Re: May Buddies!
Yasmin you're the day after me :)
The nerves are horrible and I'm not sure why I feel nervous as i've had 2 GA's before and it was fine both times.
Starz i've paid in full too so definitely no backing out, but sometimes wish I could! I will be so relieved when i'm finally led in the hospital bed recovering from GA as nothing I can do but get on with it then, and enjoy my fab new boobs and nose.
Only have 5 days left at work next week to get through an hopefully they will fly by. I'm busy for the week so should be quite a good distraction.
Did any of you get tearful in the hospital - i'm worried I might as going on my own and don't want to look like a puny wimp haha

Re: May Buddies!
Well, my dad is taking me but he is not staying. I've got to have an overnight stay and my sister is coming in to pick me up and bring me home the next day.
Not really much point in my dad staying during surgery as I'm having boobs and nose done at the same time and will be in surgery for about 4 hours I think. Don't think it would be fair to make him wait for all that time as i'm likely to be a bit groggy and sleepy after surgery anyway (i normally am after a GA) so would be completely boring for him.
I'm not too worried about the needles, but i've got to be there at 7:30am which means no water after 4am. Just hope I am the first patient of the day.

Hi faye
please look forward to your op, it will give you the confidence to go out and find someone you deserve.
Why did he finish with you? Men can be such losers sometimes xx

Re: May Buddies!
Thanks girls. He just said it didn't feel right. Was so excited about
the op and finally feeling good about myself. Now I just feel like I'm
not good enough in general. I know I'll be okay.
Elaine, I got your message, but I'm not allowed to pm yet - please don't think I'm ignoring you.

Oh... The other thing I wanted to ask... I know I'm not allowed to see
anyones pics yet (was hoping I could so I can see what to expect)...
Will I be allowed to post my own pics? Or do I have to wait until I've
reached 30 posts for that too?
