got my admission time today, i have to be at the hospital for 12pm, sure it will be a long morning, however on the bright side I can wake up and have some toast and tea as long as its before 7am.

Woo - makes it feel more real when you have an actual admission time.

I've got to be there at 7:30am so no food after midnight for me, and no water after 5:30am! Its going to be a long morning for me.

i kind of think i would have liked to be there early and have it over with asap but it will be easier to sort childcare and get to the hospital for midday. Wow 3 days for you so exciting this period!

Similar to me then Faye, except i'm 360 overs. I think that is quite a nice size and hoping to get a DD from that.

It is exciting isn't it - time has suddenly flown by after seeming to take forever, it's suddenly here!!

Hi girls. Just waiting to be picked up from hospital. Not in any pain yet, but I've been told I will be! Looking forward to getting some sleep. Think I've had about 4hrs since 06:30 yesterday!

Congrats Faye, glad everything went well for you! I'm home after mine as well, have been in quite a bit of pain but it's fine when I'm still. Feeling bit better after getting some sleep last night as I had no proper sleep whatsoever in the hospital! Are you happy with yours at the moment?

Still feeling a bit spaced out about everything at the moment so don't know what to think. Also, I've got a wide, sticky dressing on so can't really see them properly. I didn't have drains, but forgot to ask why not. I thought you always had them with unders.

I think it's just surgeon's preference with drains faye, I wish I didn't have them but was told the fluid is better out than in. Just having problems at the moment cos where the drain was won't stop bleeding! I didn't have any dressings on my boobs apart from where the incisions were.

Is it just really light bleeding Starz? I haven't had any bloating. Were you bloated straight away, or did it start today? I'm still not in pain... Got a feeling this is the calm before the storm though!

Because it hadn't stopped bleeding and was bleeding over a period of time I think it looked worse than it was, but I have had the dressing changed and the nurse said she thinks it has stopped bleeding now so hopefully everything should be ok. I didn't actually notice the bloating straightaway but that's maybe cos my mind was on my boobs. That's good you don't have any pain, you might be lucky and recover quickly.

Can't believe its my ba and nose day tomorrow - feel quite calm at the moment but it doesn't really feel real yet - probably won't hit me til i'm on the way to the hospital tomorrow morning.

How are you both feeling today Faye and Starz - not too uncomfortable i hope xx

Thanks lovelies. I'm doing all the last minute things today like washing and drying my bedding, last minute housework and emptying the bins and kitty litter tray. I think I might cook a cottage pie and freeze it in portions later too so I have got some easy things to pop into the microwave for the first couple of days.

I can't believe how calm I feel - was expecting to feel so much more nervous then this - perhaps it will hit me later when I have run out of things to do!! Fortunately, I've got a kitten who is a little bit mental so that is quite distracting and calming too x
