Consultation Confusion
Hey All,
Just wondered if any of you can help me, I had my 1st consultation at Transform yesterday, The treatment co ordinator was really lovely but the consultant did everything he could to talk me out of having the enlargement I want. He said I was borderline in being allowed to have it as i'm already a Dcup (in his opinion) I've always been a B/C .
He also said if I have 525g implants then they will eventually sag as nature intended and cause major stretch marks..??
I'm definately confused now, was so sure was what I wanted to do but he really did put me off...

Re: Consultation Confusion
Hey hun, that's one persons opinion. I'd go and see another surgeon and try as much as possible to listen to what their advice would be for you first before you tell them what you want. If you have your mind made up before you go in it'll be difficult to accept anything else.
He may be doing you a favour telling you the truth although its not what you wanna hear, another surgeon may suggest a lift (if needed) with smaller implants... but you need to feel comfortable with why they suggest that so see at least 2 surgeons before you make up your mind
Good luck hun and don't worry too much x

Re: Consultation Confusion
hello and welcome to the site!
I know how you feel as at my first consult the ps was trying to talk me out of it saying my boobs were fine the way there were ect...but I knew a ba was what I wanted. In the end I found a ps who understood what I was after and I had 525cc implants in july last year.
However I do appriciate that one day I will need an uplift and implants replaced. xx

Re: Consultation Confusion
Hi,
Who did you see at Transform?
Book another consultation with a different surgeon/company if it's what you really want to do, but your boobs look big anyway, judging by your picture and if a surgeon tells you that you don't need it, maybe you don't need it!
What size do you want to go to? If you are already a D and are having 525 implants you'll be huge! Unless you need to fill loose skin?

Re: Consultation Confusion
Possibly I am being a bit greedy, In my picture I have a massively padded bra on that's why they look big. Think I just want to have that look permanently.
I have 2more consultations booked both in brighton so will go in with an open mind and see what they say.
I saw Mr B Nathan at Transform, He was really nice, I guess the fact he was trying to talk me out of it proves they are not just in it for the cash!
Thanks for the advice girls

Re: Consultation Confusion
Hey hun and a big welcome from me too
I think I agree with the advice given above, i'd go and get a second or third opinion, but also listen to what they have to say, they are the experts after all and would only advice against something if it's not in the patients best interest or in this case there would be too much sagging and stretch marks as a consequence of this larger implant.
Good luck x x
