hi everyone on my last post i was telling you about my appointment with the psychologist. well i went to my appointment and she said the surgeon is happy to do the surgery but he was worried about my depression. so after a long talk she said shes happy with the surgery to go ahead. im so happy she said it could be weeks or a couple of months till the surgery is done and it will definatly be done before summer. im still totally shocked it hasnt sunk in properly yet.

That's great news!!!

I had to wait 6weeks for mine. I was lucky my surgeon hadn't seen me since before the psychologist report, so I never knew I was on his waiting list. The letter appeared on the doormat 1 day. 10days later I had new boobs.

i had my appointment in september with the consultant and he said he could help me but wanted me to see a psychologist first. there had been some mix up so i have only just had my appointment on wednesday. ive got a appointment to see the consultant again on the 26th feb but he gave me that appointment when i first seen him in september. can anyone tell me what happens next and how long it took till the actual surgery

Firstly congrats on being accepted chick!

Have you tried getting in touch with your consultants secretary to see if she can tell you what is going on? If you haven't just call the hospital you saw him at and ask to speak to Mr (consultants name) secretary.
Seems a bit odd he wants to see you again, perhaps it's just to finalise exactly what is going to happen?

Congratulations. You must be so happy huni.
I know my surgeon said as soon as i "passed" the psychologist assesment he'd see me again to take all my measurements and discuss size, the op, the recovery etc and then book me in for op. I really hope all goes well and your op is really quick xx
