Re: What complications have you had?
I have rippling as in I can easily feel the implant in both breasts. If I loose weight this rippling is visable. I am considering a re-op but decided to wait a year to allow the implants to settle completely before making a final decision.

HI nads this might sound silly but i didnt think rippling was a complication? I thought it was just something we can all get if we have thin skin.........I do have rippling if i take my bra off i get it in the cleverage area of all places to get it! was told it was quite commen & as long as its not sever then they dont do anything about it.

Re: What complications have you had?
Yeah, its not really a complication hun, i've changed it to 'severe visible rippling' instead as some girls get reops if its very visible all around the boobs. Most girls have a little around the edges xCrystal wrote:HI nads this might sound silly but i didnt think rippling was a complication? Re: What complications have you had?
My 'other' complication was that discussed in the 'crater in the breast that won't heal' thread where a stitch at the T section of my uplift suturing caused a hole that didn't close for over 3 months.
All good now and more commomn than I initiall thought, so try not to panic, mostly it does go away. :-)

Re: What complications have you had?
I have a question? What causes "bottoming out"?
Is it more prone to happen with larger implants? Do unders or overs make a difference?

Re: What complications have you had?
I had double bubble which corrected itself, and mondor's cord which went away. I love them even if they gave me a ruff time in the beginning. ;)

Re: What complications have you had?
Just had re-op (26/8/12) because of bottoming out, seroma, and rippling... Thought I was the only one who had complications at the time so its good to know other people have been their and come out of the other side! Hopefully finger crossed it wont happen again!

Re: What complications have you had?
I've had an infection in one, failed mastopexy, and one bottomed out. I've now had both taken out and they look a right mess. X

Re: What complications have you had?
I have had a infection, failed mastopexy, I had one implant taken out within 6 weeks due to infection, but the nhs refused to take the other out for me and left it in for 18 months. The remaining implant was a f and had the bread loaf look. Nightmare!
