oh god i was the same hun, didn't have a clue what to take!! the main thing i remember being important to me was the Bailey's chocolates i munched into just after i came back from my op, courtesy of Mariajw i must add!!
You'll defo need some comfy slip on shoes/boots to come home in
Face cleansing wipes, to freshen up. Books, Mags, change, snacks. Not sure about laptop & internet though hun
I washed in Octenisan a few days prior to my op (and still do now! )
Not long now hunni and they'll be home x x

Re: back in and memory loss!!
Heyy.. I was the same when I had my op, I looked like I was moving in with my huge bag, not staying for one night!! Lol..
I took -
Face wipes (used them to freshen up all over really after my op)
Ribena (: Random I kno..
Mags, not that I felt like reading them
Phone charger!!
Laptop is a brill idea.. You will need a dongle unless the hosp has free wifi access.
Hair brush, bobbles etc. Hated it in my face
Comfy zip up or big necked top
Comfy trousers
Got my mum and dad to bring a pillow for the trip home to go between me and the seat belt!
And I think to be honest that was about it. I was told to not use any deoderant or body cream/spray on the morning of the op and not to use anything on the boobage area so having wipes to use after the op was a god send!
Hope this helps & good luck!! xxxx

Re: back in and memory loss!!
Hi,
A pillow is a must have for the journey home to cushion your boobs.
I also had to get antibacterial wipes from Boots as I was told to clean my scars twice a day with them for 6 weeks to keep them sterile.
I think you've got everything else covered!

I used Hibiscrub, showered with it the night before, then the morning of surgery and as soon as I was able to wash my boobies I've been washing them with this since, still using it now. I got it from Boots.
