Loss of sensation...! Empty Loss of sensation...!

Post by PinkyBecky 23rd July 2011, 9:58 pm

Evening girls :)

The lower part of my boob (below the nipple) has very little feeling i can run my finger along the skin and barely feel it. Such a strange feeling! Yet the top part is still real sore and tender!

Is this normal?
And how long for it to settle?

Completely normal!
It can take up to a year for all the feeling to come back, and the overly sensitive areas are all signs that the nerves are healing up, underneath my boobs has taken the longest to come back.

yup, its a good thing, the nipples become hyper sensitive as they heal, they should get back to normal pretty soon then.

Hey ladies, luckily, I haven't noticed loss of sensation anywhere except....get ready...my tongue!!!! Apparently the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) they used instead of intubation for anesthesia compressed part of my left lingual nerve. One side of my tongue tingles!! Who would have thunk! Hysterical
