Hi Tazzie!!
I did same as Katie...pillow under the boobies...just eases you in gently to normal sleeping positions.
Sleeping propped up is to ease swelling and allow implants to settle without pressure put on them.
Happy snooze tonight xxx

Re: Sleeping on side?
Hi,
I'm four weeks post op and have only just managed to get over on my side. I had a B.A and an uplift, and also upper arm surgery so it was quite extensive and I had to sleep on my back with my arms raised for first two weeks which was a bit grim.
I gradually kind of half turned- but throughout I have used at least six pillows to give me plenty of heights and support, and in the last couple of days I have found I can turn on my side properly - although after a while I find the added pressure of the implants tends to wake me up to turn over.
Sleeping propped up with plenty of pillows definitely helps a lot but I think your body naturally finds it's own position as time goes on, and you instinctively know when you are able to turn to the side.
It's all going to be worth it in the end!!!

Re: Sleeping on side?
I found myself sleeping on my side a few days under 3 weeks post op. I tried sleeping with a pillow under boobies which was fine whilst I had bed to myself, but when hubby came back from weekend away, there wasnt enough room! Im now just over 3 weeks post op and sleep on either side. There is a bit of a pulling sensation and right side is a bit tender, but ive been laying flat for the same amount of time too, and it means I finally get a good night sleep again !!
