Re: sleeping on my side?
I was told I could after a week if I wanted to but have been chicken and still sleeping on back. Need to take the plunge though as I'm getting awful back ache sleeping on my back. An sure it will be fine especially as we are still wearing supportive bras.

Re: sleeping on my side?
I'm def not allowed on my front. Can't imagine I'll ever want to lie on them though. It didn't feel right with my last ones. You might need to check again then seeing as they missed telling you about the one way you want to sleep!

Re: sleeping on my side?
I kind of sleep halfway... I am still technically on my back but I kind of shift my weight onto one buttock and cuddle the side of my v pillow.. I find it much more comfy!

Do you think this is because you have anatomicals? x
Re: sleeping on my side?
Yeah my ps said its because I have anatomicals, that's why I have to wear a sports bra for longer than the usual 6 weeks ! But hey if it means they stay where they should then it will all be worth it xx

Re: sleeping on my side?
You should be fine to start sleeping on your side now babe. Just be sure to take things very gently. If you have a V-pillow its great for positioning so that you can cuddling it and create a gap for your lower boob so there's actually no pressure from your upper body resting on it. A soft pair of rolled sockets between your boobs also helps the top boobs from flopping and keeps it stable.
If you find you're sore at all or suffer any aching then its best to go back on to your back for another week hun and then try again. If need be just keep on every week until your boobs let you know they're ready. Xx

Re: sleeping on my side?
Balanoryyelfruiy - he told me I would have to wear sports bra for at least 3 months! X but every surgeon is different Hun. Some girls here have had anatomicals and been braless for the first 6 weeks x

Re: sleeping on my side?
So do i. I am really nervous and i am dreading the back pain more than anything =\ x
Re: sleeping on my side?
Aww it's not too bad, honestly the boobies are sooooo worth it. It's the sleeping on my back that I'm struggling with, it makes my legs hurt. Everything else has been a breeze!! You will be fine x

Re: sleeping on my side?
Lisagreen34 how come you got anatomicals if you dont mind me asking? I dont mind sleeping on my back, it is the upright thing that worries me =| x
Re: sleeping on my side?
Ive had 7 children and breast fed all of them so have no breast tissue left at all, also my nipples quite low but not low enough to need an uplift this time and anatomical implants raise the nipples

I've been recommended anatomicals to raise my nipples too =] do you find it has worked or are they still the same? Please feel free to tell me to bog off asking all these questions can't believe you've had 7 children i would love a big family like that!
Newboobz no i didn't know, i was having images of sleeping in the recliner x
Re: sleeping on my side?
Hey Newboobz just wondered if you tried it last night. I started off as usual on my back. Woke up with backache so decided enough was enough and lay on my side. So comfy no pain and boobs still in their right place! No going back for me!
