Hi Girls

Need some advice. I had my op 1st August so 4 months ago. They settled well and are soft, firm but not hard. Under my right one though it has felt for the past 3 weeks like I am bruised on the top of the rib. It looks all normal. I can't feel any lumps or bumps. I am conscious that when I feel it or stretch its sore. Not the pain to make you cry but I'm aware of it and now that 3 weeks have passed and its still there I am worried I have capsular contracture?
I relly don't want to go back to my Doctor but should I to be safe?

HAs anyone had similar pain..thats just gone away of its own accord?

hey lovely,

I've not had that problem that you're describing, but I'd give your PCC a call and arrange a meet-up with your nurse or surgeon just to check everything's ok.

I doubt it's CC as usually most girls report a tightening of the implant, like it goes quite firm and hard more than anything else, but best to be safe than sorry.

It may be scar tissue or the implants rubbing on a nerve hun, i would see your surgeon for advice x

And I seem to be following Nads round this site this morning ! Sore at top of rib under Boob 557141

And I have to agree with Nads again!!, I am 3 months and have not experienced anything like this, if it were me I would go and get my surgeon to have a feel .... just to be sure... xx

I know what you mean, I have had a similar problem and it happens when I have been wearing underwire bras for a while. I havent gone to get it checked out because I'm not in a lot of pain, it just feels soreish and I've put it down to the bras xx
