Very sore.
Hi ladies, I'm just over 3 months post op, and my left boob is really sore, and very tender on top of boob. Also it's hard. Was wondering have I over done it or is it common? X x

Hey [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i havent had my BA yet but thought id comment anyways ha.. Have you spoke to your care co-ordinator or surgeon about this? May be a silly question as you may of already done this but best advice i can give! Hopefully you find out what the problem is soon! xxx

Re: Very sore.
Sorry to read you're a bit sore! Have been over doing the exercise or changed your support lately? Maybe wearing wires more or not wearing your bra at night? I don't know what's normal and what's not but could perhaps relate to that. I didn't experience it but had overs. If it sticks around for a few days/a week I would call your surgeon, even if just for reassurance x

Re: Very sore.
Ive been wearing wires a bit more, gone back to support bra but they still hurt. Seems odd but hurt more when I bend down do pick something up.
I have been to the gym Friday so could of pulled a muscle then, not going back till the pain has gone. I see my ps in 2 weeks, so if not better I'll mentioned it then, thanks ladies x x

Re: Very sore.
Hi Emma , at only 12 weeks po there is a big chance you may have over done it. The trouble is we feel pretty good at 12 weeks and forget the amount of healing that's going on inside still, but never the less get it checked as you can't be too careful . I was told to lift nothing heavy until after 12 weeks . Have you overdone it? Xx

You've hit the nail on the head Anne lol, I thought cause my boobs were feeling ok I could go a bit heavy weights at the gym. I was defiantly wrong. Oh yeah you were right about me possibly being a F cup, got re measured the other day and I'm a 30F lol x x

Re: Very sore.
Hi Emma. Anything under 12 weeks probably is a bit too soon to be lifting heavy weights at the gym. Sounds to me like your boobs are telling you off. I thought you looked bigger than an E and they have still got changes to make. 12 weeks isn't long although it feels like it. Get your sports bra back on and try to take it easy. Did you wear a really good sports bra at the gym? My surgeon said absolutely no lifting heavy weight until at least 12 weeks. My nerve pain has only just gone and I'm 5 months PO. Healing inside takes ages. 30F is a fabulous size xxx

Re: Very sore.
Yes my boobs were telling me off, I had a shock absorber bra on. Won't be lifting weights for a while I promise.
I'm still struggling to get bikinis, I like the triangle ones but they are in sizes not cups. And don't know what size to order? X x

Re: Very sore.
Hi Emma, I wear triangle bikinis and I get mine off swimwear 365. I usually get a large top and a different size bottoms. Mix and match. They do fantastic bikinis. It's only the triangle you will need bigger as the ties are streatchy xx

Re: Very sore.
Your boobs will let you know as they have done in aching when you're doing too much, just because you have the all clear for exercise doesn't mean your body is ready for it.
Ease yourself back into the weights gradually, you will get there, better it taking some time rather than doing yourself damage.

Re: Very sore.
I'm two weeks PO on thurs and was gonna try and go to the gym and do a uphill walk on the treadmill and maybe lunges without weights.
Even stretching up to hang clothes last night made me feel uncomfortable so I think it's going to be a lonnnggg time till I feel I can do any kind of upper body or weights. I'm gonna try and buy a sports bra this weekend but no idea whether it's worth shelling out for one this early and my size my change. Also I was told to keep MACOM on but it doesnt feel as supportive as I imagine a sports bra would be...
Sounds like you have just overdone it a bit so try and take it easy for a few days hun.
Amazing news they are measuring bigger! I had a similar size implant and to look at in my Macom I swear they only look a C cup :(
