sore still Empty sore still

hello. im healing really nicely and about back to normal in most ways but my boobs are really tender still. its almost like they are sensitive to touch, so i rub them to ease them and i realise that they are actually sore and very tender on the outside skin. any thoughts ladies x

i'm pre op hun so not sure but if ur worried call ur ps!! i'm sure its prob just part of the healing process thou xx

Heya Hun, I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow and mine are quite sore too, bit like mild sunburn feeling across the top if I touch them. Is the feeling in both of yours? How are you feeling other than that? Xxx

yes stokesy88 its in both. im not too bad generally thanks, cant wait to get a bra on thou. in the day when im busy its not too bad but when i slow down it really kicks in. how are you getting on, u back to normal yet?

Not quite back to normal! Still can't lift or reach, im scared to anyway in Cade I do some damage! I was quite sick at 1 week post op and have been taking antibiotics ever since so I'm still paranoid I've got an infection. Seeing my surgeon tonight but any twinge or pain in my left boob and I'm examining it in massive detail! Can finally drive today too! How are you feeling? Xxx

I'm 17 days out (I think...) and I too feel that "sunburned" feeling pretty much all over the boob, but mostly from the lower crease to the nipple. Don't worry, everytime I ask my PS if a feeling is normal he says it is!

They can be sore for a while girls. This is normal. Remember you've just had major surgery. The sore skin is your skin stretching. Just keep yourself hydrated and moisturise

As Misf1 said it can take some time for the sore feeling to pass......I couldnt let ANYONE touch my boobs for the 1st 3 months as it felt horrible
