how sore.....

hi all so after not such a gd night im shattered and will call the clinic when it opens

but how sore should i be my left is okish but my right from the bottom up tonand round the nipple was like someone stabbing me on and off last night and at one point i was in tears. took my pain relief religously too

My friend swore hers was worse than Labour. I didn't sleep much at all the first week. Hope your ok. Try & find a position your comfy in & stay there xox

Youre day 3 today which is when the swelling hits its peak babe. It does get better though and remember that for the majority, a week post op is the turning point, so hang in there lovely, its not going to feel like this.

It is a shame you can't use ice packs because this is what we all used to get through this stage.... Maybe ask again about using them explaining that you're only placing them over the tops of your boobs and not anywhere near your new incisions where the healing could be compromised by the cold. Xx

i called the hospital again and asked if i coukd try something cold cause i was really struggling with the pain and they said to do 10 mins at a time no more than once an hour. called my clinic they think i have nipple hypersentivity in my right nipple :(

All the stabbing pains Hun are totally normal and can feel like electric shocks, it's just the nerves, they will die down and become less frequent but at this stage they're very common trying to reconnect back together x

I'm still suffering myself with mine, but it is getting better now.

It really can be difficult at times hun so don't think any less of yourself, I've cried too with the sensation along with many other women here, so if you need to come and have an scream, cry or chat about it we're here for you lovely.

We KNOW what you're going through, so you're not alone in this hun. Xxx

Up to day 11 I felt really sore around my incisions I had to have tiny breaks from the sports bra and just undo it for little breaks. The good news is it shouldn't last too long. I was so worried everything I was feeling wasn't normal but all pains are gone and almost forgotten now. Hope yours calm down soon xx

Yeah, second lot Snowy. Not healing at all nope

I was supposed to go back to clinic today for a check up and wanted to ask about righty. It looks awful, but my poor dog has been ill and there's no one to watch him so I could go, so got to wait til Wednesday now.

. Are you still using Inadine dressings? Considering your immune status, have they suggested using topical antibiotics on your wounds in combination with your oral antibiotics at all? xx

I hope your poor dog gets better soon also - it very upsetting when pets are poorly :( xx

Yeah, still having to have the inodine dressings done every other day. No-ones said anything about topical anti-bs nope

I'll be sure to suggest them though when I go on Wednesday. Thanks for that Snowy. Hopefully if they do something more the healing will start then. Thank you so much kiss
